My point stands. They still have to play the bottom 2. We need them to lose tomorrow.

Nice anecdote, and you will always get the odd one, but its way off reality. The numbers are staggering in terms of support for the 2 big red clubs. Even the other r members of the sky 6 dont come anywhere near. Man cIty are irrelevant out here still. Villa will never have a huge Chinese fanbase and neither will any other English club. Its ALL about Man United and Liverpool here. I literally work with all these countries on football matters daily and have done for many years. I know what Im talking about.

I really think we need to match Spurs' result this weekend. If they win and we lose then I think we are done in the race for 4th, given they will be 3 points ahead with a game in hand and a far better goal difference. Added to that Burnley and Sheffield United are their last 2 games whilst ours a Liverpool and Palace, I dont think we would be able to make up the ground required during their difficult run of games. Huge weekend ahead.

Need cover for him badly. Could do with finding someone on a free again or at least for s reasonable price. We can probably offload Tim to a Championship club for a few million to help cover wages but we definitely need cover as Kamara won't be back til late autumn it seems. We need back up for him in any case as he will get other injuries and suspensions. We are so much better with him in the side.

Sounded great on my stream. Much louder from the Villa fans compared to the last couple.of home games.
-
Go ahead and start the Liverpool pre match thread then. I think that would be ridiculous but its up to you.

Having been in the yellow wall more than 30 times for Bundesliga games, I have always wanted to see Villa there. Hoped it would be a CL game but still would be great to go to this.

Nobody gives a shit about anyone other than Man United and Liverpool in South East Asia, China and Japan. Korea is purely Spurs and hardly anyone in these countries will have even heard of Aston Villa. Even those that have, would never start "supporting" us unless we had players from their country and once they left they would stop and follow the player. Man City have hardly any representation out here, despite them dominating for years. There is no point at all in Villa coming here sadly. None.

Konsa ar rb is a disaster. Going forward he isn't ever going to overlap with Bailey and defensively we let in so many goals you'd think we were fighting relegation. Need Cash so badly.

Absolutely stonewall. Never seen any penalty more deserving of being given. It was as blatant as it comes, Just like the Sheff U one.

Yes. Its bloody obvious and you know it is. You have never, ever done anything but disagree with EVERY single thing I say. So nothing is new. Please put me on ignore and save this tediousness of me having to read your constant digs. Its predicatable and incredibly sad. Thanks

Because discussing team line ups and tactics for a game in FOUR matches time is pointless given we don't know the context. specially at this stage of the season with rotation based on the next 3 results very likely.

What? 1. We could finish 4th. 2. Arsenal could knock Bayern out. 3. Man City, the holders, could knock Madrid out, 4. West Ham could turn it around in the 2nd leg. All of those are possible and perhaps all bar number 4, are more likely than us winning the competition, given we are only in the QF and face a tough 2nd leg.

Tim has shown nothing to suggest he deserves to play and I think he will be out on loan again next season, or maybe even sold to balance the books. Isaiah Osborne MK2. Rogers however, looks lie an astute signing and pleased he is starting agin,

If he had pens his stats wouod be the same. Just with more missed pens. There's a reason he got taken off them.

He is stood there on his phone. Clearly not injured physically, although the mental side of things is a different matter. Looks fine, but will no doubt be a bit shaken.
