How many games has he started? How many goal contributions? For 20 million I'd expect some decent stats by now.

I didn't say anything of the sort so why the sarcastic reply? They paid 20 million for a player who has never scored a goal, got one assist and missed a hatful of gilt edge chances. I remember saying the likes of Delfouneso and Davis would never make a career at the top level and got similar responses so let's just see. I'd be amazed if he makes it at Chelsea. I'd much rather have Ramsey.

I have still yet to see Carney do anything at all that justifies him being even a Championship player. Has he even scored a goal at senior level? As I've said before, he will do well to make a career in the 2nd tier, can't understand why anyone would have paid 20 million l for him but it's Chelsea and they are a basket case. Really, really overrated footballer, whatever he did at youth level is irrelevant in the big boys league.

It wasn't Liverpool under 12s, it was their reserves as the 1st team buggered off to the middle east. Maybe you are thinking of the FA Cup match when WE played our under 12s against them and they went full strength.

Not whilst they have Saudi owners. And if the Saudis ever did sell (can't see why they ever would) it would likely be to another mid East nation. When did we last finish above Man United? Have we ever finished above them in the PL? Yes, I believe l Newcastle are so far gone now that we will not finish above them again. Just as we haven't finished above Man United for decades. -

They are one of the worst fan bases in the country for not getting behind their club. AFTV is been comedy gold everytime they lose a game. -
Newcastle will smash Southampton in next month and will be favourites to be Man United in the final unfortunately.

We were never in for him and he would never have come to us even if we were. Pure speculative rubbish.His next option was Arsenal. Players like him don't come to clubs like us unfortunately. I think he is amazing player, far better than what we have in our squad, but thats a hell of a lot of money for a loan.

We haven't finished top half of the Prem for over a decade never mind finishing 6th. Their owners bought them less than a year ago and the progress they have made is staggering. Certainly nothing to laugh at anymore. -

Yeah let's all laugh at League Cup semi finalists, Champions League chasing Newcastle, the world's richest club, whilst we languish in the bottom half of the table after being knocked out of the FA Cup at home to a 4th division side. If ever a thread needed a title change its this one. -
I'll be honest, I'm finding it very hard to give a shit about this game. When our only hope of winning anything gets thrown away like it did on Sunday, the motivation to watch us try and finish 10th just isn't there. Maybe it will change on match day (probably) but right now I find it hard to see the point.

The title? Are you being serious? They are a bang average side that will do well to finish within 25 points of the winners. Next season they will be stronger and eventually they will win everything but the title this season? Not a hope in hell. I do think their confidence will take a hit tho, and they will slip into the Europa places in no time.

Our goal was disallowed for less than that up there last season. Coady was in an offside position when the first ball was played and he was definitely interfering. Still, it's funny. De Gea is shocking at times.

Just 2 games, meaning that even if they come straight back up it would be tied with Man United v Arsenal and if they didn't then one would expect that it will be Man United v Arsenal forevermore.

If Everton get relegated then Man United v Arsenal will be the most played top flight fixture. I've always had a bit of pride in the fa t it's always been Villa v Everton. If hate it to not be us but especially to be replaced by that lot.

This is the FA Cup 3rd round and "it's only" teams have upset the big boys many times in the past. And that's without them sending out their reserves. Stevenage are going well in League 2 and we need to be careful here.

If we want to get knocked out at the first hurdle then we could play that team. If we want to progress we meed a better side than that.

I am optimistic with Emery in charge on the whole, but not optimistic that we can finish higher than 11th this particular season. Too much work to do on the squad in too short a time frame for that.
