We have got 2 good but very different options now at lb. A pacey winger type who will beat a man and cross from the byline or a whip it in from deep maybe slightly more defensive option (as he's deeper when delivering the ball rather than being all the way up the pitch). Good way to change things around mid-game

Yes and no. We were bad all over the pitch with emi in goal. We definitely lose some composure in our backline when Olssen is in goal tho.

I think the most important trait Emery will look for is players he knows will fit the system and take instruction or be able to be coached into his system. Players he's worked with before would surely be a good place to start. Players like Zaha etc can't see happening for instance

Unais record in cup competitions is phenomenal. This run-in feels like a cup run. Just saying that I think we'll win all our remaining games that's all. And I know i said I thought we'd lose the next two but I didn't mean it

Plus you can rely on Ollie to be playing every game, and clearly being the "main man" hasnt done his confidence any harm. Having archer as back up instead of a big signing could be perfect for everyone.

I'd say the same for Coutinho and traore too. We aren't winning that game in that style with those types of players on the pitch imo. I love the tenacity of our midfield and forward line, but I guess there is a place for other options and there's no reason unai can't improve the performances of them

True. At least I now expect a game plan, confidence and effort in each game. We are well overdue a loss even if it's against run of play / individual errors / poor officiating etc. Really hope we win the next 2 to put out rivals under the most pressure tho.
