  1. Believe we've hired our own Ferguson/Pep/Ancelotti/Wenger. The way he has the team playing, I genuinely do not see a competition we could not win.
  2. I think the difference in talent between these two is negligible. The difference in manager tactics is a chasm
  3. Better spot for him. I still think he's a good manager, but this is his last chance in the Premier League, IMO.
  4. If we are throwing out names of people in the Eredivisie that we would like to see Villa sign, I'll throw out Ricardo Pepi again. Although he is an Augsburg player, I think he has a truly great future ahead of him.
  5. Vitor Roque would be a massive sign of intent by the club to not only provide world class young talent to the club, but would show they are ready to rejoin the elite in the transfer market. Julian Alvarez all over again. Maybe they can identify the talent before the top 6/galacticos clubs make a serious offer and snag him this time.
  6. Giant golden Unai face as the façade.
  7. Feels like there are long stretches of time where he simply doesn't have any composure.
  8. Professional Win. Palace gonna sneak into a relegation spot.
  9. A lot of us said that if Emery could sort out Ollie, he'd be worth every bit of money spent. The same with McGinn. It's fair to say this player was always in there, but lost his confidence under Smith and Gerrard absolutely destroyed any bits he had left. Emery has given him his confidence back and he's rewarding him with 5 in a row. Incredible work by both Watkins and Emery.
  10. Weghorst was a giant waste of money, but Ten Hag has the under performing playing like the best in Europe and has turned them around with some beautiful work on the pitch. Smart, tough, direct when needed to be, with a bit of shithousery when needed.
  11. They should have scored when Konsa **** it all up again, hard to say the result wasn't always going to be a loss.
  12. I find plenty of pickup games in Columbus, but that has really only grown since the MLS popularity has grown. If you're in a place without an MLS team, I'd imagine it's difficult.
  13. Hard on Marsch. Hope he's the next USMNT Manager.
  14. Miserable, gutless back 4 performance from everyone who stepped on the pitch
  15. Thank goodness. Criminal that he was sent away in the first place. Righting the wrongs of Slippy G
  16. Luiz Henrique please. Hes extremely talented.
  17. Give him something to be flanked by up the middle of the field and we'll be very happy with him. Puts in a shift and has the athletic ability to play big and strong.
  18. Makes sense. Little to prove at the u-20 level.
  19. The MLS has made huge inroads into signing in their prime South Americans. It used to be a place where over aged Euros and average US internationals played, but it's taken a dramatic leap forward in recent years.
  20. As a frequent MLS watcher, I'm pretty excited. Thought he was going to a Champ League team. Might not be quite there yet, but something about him just has a nose for goal. All the physical tools, get him some proper coaching and he could be a sensation.
  21. Was extremely unimpressed by him and his performance at the WC. Suggests he's more of the same from Brighton. A club with magic pixie dust at the moment. As soon as a player/manager is out from under it's umbrella, they turn into a giant pumpkin.
  22. Coutinho was probably a bigger factor than Gerrard, IMO. Coutinho is a very popular player in the US. A lot of the big La Liga teams are extremely popular, and with a large latin/south american presence, not to mention how many in the US are also of Jamaican decent, it makes sense.
