One of them have bought Lucas Zelarayan from my local team, the Columbus Crew for an undisclosed fee. Awful for Columbus. Good for whoever got him.

Absolutely oozes world class ability

I acknowledge that it's a good kit, but not one I think I could wear and look good in it. Better than the home.

Olsen allowing that massive rebound is pathetic. Terrible control.

And he scores the game winner in 90+4 on a free kick from just outside the box. Awesome.

Bump. Leagues Cup starts tonight, first year of it. MLS and Liga MX pausing their season to play for a cup. First game is Cruz Azul and Inter Miami, first game for a dude named Messi. On the bench. Maybe they will be okay.

Because, whether we like it or not, Villa are still not an established European side yet. It was just 2 years ago that we finally escaped "relegation candidate" and made it into mid table tier. Now, those who look closer and see the work Emery has done, sees the direction of the team, I think those thoughts can be overcome (like it was for Torres and Diaby, seemingly). But to the outside world, Villa were lucky to get ECL and would do well to repeat that season and that doesn't always appeal to the type of player Emery, Monchi, and NSWE are aiming for at to bring to Villa. Edit: basically exactly what @Jas10 said but much better than I could explain it.

I remember they were really pumping it up during...something that I watched on USA, maybe even the last fixture list of the season? Well at least we get more exposure this summer.

Isn't the whole series on USA? Either way, totally fine for me. Seeing Villa play in the evening will be a very different experience.

If we could get the Schalke version of McKennie, the guy who seemed to give a ****? Yeah, I'd take him. But he's gotten out of shape and entitled at Juventus, which isn't a surprise as I don't see that as a particularly hard working club.
-
So many other USMNT players I'd rather see Villa sign than McKennie. So so many...
-
Watched a lot of leeds this year (don't judge me, they had a lot of Americans). Gnonto was their brightest player every time I watched them play. Believe he would be an excellent signing. Could be used as a spark off the bench or as a starter in the Bailey role.

We should keep an eye on what's going on in AC Milan. Their last Non-EU spot is going to either Christian Pulisic or Daichi Kamada. They cannot have both. I'd love to have either of those 2 at Villa.
-
That'd make sense, but it would require a right midfielder further up the field to be more attacking and more wide. Don't currently have that player, in my opinion.
-
This makes a lot of sense to me. But would probably require a much better RB than Cash to execute it properly.
-
Rumored fee of €30-35 million. Absolute banger of a deal.
-
Cites the Daily Mail as a source, so who really knows how credible the rumor can be.
-
Tom Bogart is extremely reliable and connected to USMNT players. If he says Villa are in, they are most likely in.
-
Bogart is SUPER reliable, though usually deals with MLS
-
I really cannot imagine him as a RM. Defensive RB in a pinch, maybe, but he's at his best as a ball winning CDM
-
Seen a lot of Tyler Adams, as an American myself. Hes very good. He's Marv with more technical ability. Not sure where he fits, to be honest, as he needs more minutes for the next USMNT team, and he's likely captain material soon enough. Needs minutes to beat out McKinnie.
