  1. Andy why don't you interview me for your blog? ...For Chesterfield btw.
  2. I'm always in the market for new euphemisms. Kinky so and so...
  3. Just looking back at some of the FB messages from last night... On an old Unı friend's page he's remembering a mate who's recently died. I've written 'did you bore him to death...'
  4. Much obliged. In fact I've just watched it again and that's cheered me up aswell.
  5. Read JG's book a few years back. Quite a good read, it talked abouthis troubles with Collymore and his struggles with Ellis. Think it was only a pound in The Works. Smashing chap to have at the villa. Another thing that's giving me a tiny stonker is the magnificent weather I'm having on the way to work. I don't think I've ever worn sunglasses at 7am before in my life.
  6. Which leads to PC recreations. Not calling them brainstorms because it could offend people with epilepsy (it's what I heard anyway).
  7. I heard there was quite a protest about it...didn't someone leave a message on your front gate?
  8. Na the Spanish bird was the not so hot one who turned me down, I think she was a bit young anyway. The Italian one was hot and just stupidly got dumped by someone with incredibly high expectations. Sorry to hear that about the Italian. Maybe she could have progressed your relationship more than the others but I feel with what you've told me things always revert to type after a while.
  9. I thought the Italian bird looked a bit Spanish...
  10. How does a blind person know what the colour black is?
  11. In my experience it should go a bit like this: You "Hello there, are there any vacancies going here?" Person: "Yes there are, do you have a CV?" You: " Yes (You will hand over a CV in a plastic pocket) here you are. My contact details are on the top and you can contact me anytime" Person: "Ok brilliant, we'll be in contact with you soon" You: *smile and look courteous* "Thank you so much for your time, have a nice day" ** If they don't have opportunities going. You should hand over the CV for future reference.
  12. I'd say you had more chance of getting taken hostage in Aston than in Uganda. If they're offering you $13,000 they gonna look after you... Just make sure they don't sew your legs where your arms are and your arms where you legs are.
  13. Just doesn't feel right to me.
  14. Me too. I have different books for different periods of my day. Bedtime is spent reading a novel. At the moment it's Slaughterhouse 5 which I've almost completed in 2 nights. (fantastic book btw) Then I have my 'toilet book' It's usually a WWII book of some sort at the moment I'm stoking the dying embers of Rising '44 about the Warsaw uprising. It's quite a biggun' so it's taken me a few months to get there. Travelling to work I tend to go for more modern history. I've just completed Postwar: A history of Europe since 1945. Seeing as i'm on the bus for 45 minutes, it's perfect to get into a book and you don't even realise you've reached your stop until someone taps you on the shoulder. At the moment I'm reading a book about the war in Chechnya. I don't follow set rules for holiday reading. If it's a summer holiday I might even pick up a crap novel at the airport so it lies on my chest, while I sleep in the sun. When I buy my own apartment (wherever I lay my hat) I've already decided on my library and that I should have a room devoted to reading.
  15. I'd take that. Unless you have family and children. Uganda is pretty stable at the moment. My late step father had a similar type of set-up in Rwanda about 4 years ago. He loved it.
  16. Living in Istanbul it's completely different. You can get everything delivered to your door for half to a third of the price of UK takeaways. What's more is that you can have relatively cheap home cooked meals also delivered from faimly run restaurants (Meatballs, rice and a cola) for 3pounds. Plus, it's cheaper than buying al the ingredients fresh from a supermarket. Dominoes Pizza are doing two 'big boy' pizzas for 15tl which is just shy of 6 pounds with free delivery.
  17. I watched Unknown last night. Good film, but I can't help but think it's all the Bourne films in one. Even down to the filming in Berlin. Nice, slick filming however and Liam Neeson is, as ever, always pleasant to watch on screen.
  18. Hertha one is shit. The team are shit.
  19. Amazing amazing amazing Nonsense Nonsense Nonsense!
  20. Sounds like something you're going to have explain more Chindle Chinderwardene.
