  1. I think we communicate that he is surplus to requirements if he doesnt play either? with his first half of the season + half a season without many minutes I dont see any sale value would be higher than £10-12. If he plays for Newcastle and does the job, that could be £15-20. Also add in the loan fee and wages saved and I would say its good business based on what the player also wanted himself.
  2. If it secures him regulary first team football in PL the added value he gets, is probably worth it when we sell him this summer (which I assume we do).
  3. Its nothing to disagree with, its economy. I 100% agree thats our strategy, and I believe thats what we aim at. Making a profit in transfers. However, when selling a player you evaluate current and potential value and what you would gain from it. The money we paid for them are gone, it doesnt add into the equation.
  4. That is correct, but the -25 (split up) will still be there no matter what. Hence it should not be taken into consideration in regards to selling. Other FFP measures as getting the profit a year later etc should be taken into consideration, but thats not related to whats already paid.
  5. Whatever is paid for a player is a sunk cost, shouldnt be taken into consideration if a player is to be sold or not. I agree that Ings can have a future here, I dont think he has been that bad, just not compatible with Watkins atm
  6. They chased them away many years ago. Now they are 400m north east of it, and its going on full display 24/7 by Gunerius. Area around Hard Rock Cafe never been very shade, like more than you expect shadyness in a big city at nighttime.
  7. In most European cities just go to the areas around the main train station. You will be offered whatever you need there
  8. After watching this years AFCON i realised its not only traore. The games were full of players who looked like both messi and Heskey within the same dribble. So frustrating to watch. It does remind me of the thrill of seeing individual skill be cherished and not just be boring systems thou!
  9. I dont think the club is allowed to live stream it due to TV agreements. International breaks and FA cup prohibits clubs to televise their friendlies in that time.
  10. Going to be crucified noe, but I Linda liked it
  11. I think Brattvåg will survive postponing it since its still 2 months until the first league match this season in Norway
  12. Signing Renato Sanches is like signing Balotelli. Immense raw talent, but a player who constantly make the wrong decision on the pitch . I rate every CM we have above Sanches
  13. Well Newcastle fans are outraged they didnt sign Haaland, Mbappe and Messi this window...
  14. Dont you dare to swedify his name! Only Swedes use "son" as the ending in last names of the Scandinavian countries. The two countries who are more classy and educated (Norway and Denmark) use the "sen"! Only swedes could get the idea to use C in anything as well, Danes and Norwegians dont
  15. Perspective is fun: Everyone else: Villa clear winners of transfer window Villa fans: Not at all happy since we didnt get a DM and loaned out Targett Personally think the window has been very good, even if I wanted us to get a DM. Targett probably out so he can keep market value and be moved on this summer. Shame since I like the guy
  16. I dont trust anything anymore, sorry Wouldnt trust anyone in Villa to know anything, suddenly they snuck in Messi under the sheets without Gerrard knowing
  17. So a few accounts hyping up something big All the media saying nothing incoming Previously signings of Ings and Chambers has lead me to believe no one knows anything about our business...
  18. Then we obviously disagree. The MG case is reminding me on how sickening sexual assaults are, so it reminded me on how much I am against this signing at the current state. to me, its enough that he is under investigation to warrant a no go on a transfer. I dont know the present state of the investigation, but I know there is a investigation thats thats what matters to me in regards of a signing. No different to me if he is allowed to leave the country or not.
  19. He is under police investigation. Common sense to await a conclusion to the investigation before you hire a person Yesterday was regarding MG, which give anything regarding sexual assaults a bad taste
  20. I still believe it should be 100% resolved before any transfer should be discussed
  21. Yeah, but the case yesterday kinda told me what we heard and whats going on isnt the same. The rumours prior to yesterday about MG was that he had slapped his GF, and then the voice recordings come out... I dont believe Bissouma has done anything of that sort, but until the matter is resolved I believe the right thing is to keep a distance.
  22. Yesterdays news makes this transfer a no go until the matter with Bissouma is resolved legally to me. Cant fathom anyone believing we should buy him until the police case clears his name.
  23. Still convinced promising to not break the spaghetti in 2 is worth atleast £5m in Italy.
  24. Give them £18m and promise to not break the pasta in two before boiling it.
