    With historically easy runs to the finals. Our bracket didn't have a team in the top 10 in Europe. And the best team we played was missing their best player. In 2018 we played Belgium twice we lost twice. We lost to a Croatia who weren't exactly lighting the world on fire and were instead getting through on 1 goal wins and penalties. Southgate shouldn't receive plaudits for this. He did the bare minimum with the opponents we faced.

    If we look at Italy. They have a player who couldn't play 90 minutes all tournament. They still started him and played him every minute they could. Southgate is a twonk. And next year we won't even get close because Germany will have a fantastic manager like Italy with mancini.

    He has taken 2. The first was a goal in the most important moment of his career. The 2nd was the underside of the bar. He's a good pen taker. When with the under 21s for England he was one of two players who scored every penalty in training.

    My question is how on earth despite Jack and Phillips putting themselves forward and both being cool customers did Southgate put a 19 year old who was clearly experiencing a moment far too big for him ahead of them. Frankly embarrassing management and alone is worthy of the sack.

    Disagree strongly. We were awful. Italy had 70% possession and 19 shots to our 6. This is a team that had 30% possession last game. We were completely outclassed and had spinnazola been fit or if insigne was on the ball we'd be talking about how the **** did we lose 5-0.

    That's just wrong. He would have taken the one vs wolves but el ghazi asked for it. And he likes the strikers to take pens because it gives momentum. You can guarantee next season though Grealish will take pens to inflate his numbers like a certain Mr Fernandes.

    50/50 chance kane is going to be out for half the season so I think there are fair odds that Ollie could do it. Maybe most non-penalty goals.

    Well I think we'd still be in for another attacker even if we did sign him but either him or Buendia on the left, Jack through the middle and the other on the right. Or Jack on the left and either Alvarez or Buendia through the centre the other on the right.

    Disagree. Alvarez is one for the future. But he can play LW, RW, CAM or Up front. He is literally the perfect young signing because he provides depth in a position where we have none. He can play as a 2nd striker so he could play with Wesley or watkins and if we ever go that route and he seems to have an excellent eye for a through ball meaning if he is playing in the hole he can play our players through.
