  1. We aren't talking about dele alli here. Foden was an average player this season. There are a number of English players who are similar in age who are just better. Mount, Saka, ESR, Reece James, Eze, Tomori, Konsa, Sancho, Bellingham.
  2. No, I'm comparing cash 20-21 and Guilbert 19-20. Because if it was just this season it would be no contest. Because in the games he played Gilbert was a top 5 rb in the world.
  3. Maybe but that isn't right now where he is an average player.
  4. Because Foden is an average at best Premier league starter and I think that is generous. I'd definitely have Traore over him if you ignore age. Messi was probably the 2nd best player in world football at the time pep first coached him (and he would have known him as he coached barca B from when Messi was 17). Its a **** ridiculous claim.
  5. You can respect his opinion on everything but his own players. He things John stones is better than laporte who I think is pretty much a consensus top 10 cb in world football atm. Probably top 5 with Ramos and VVDs injuries.
  6. Because that is definitely Dortmunds most important competition. Definitely not like they also progressed far in the CL.
  7. Pep has a reputation for hyping up young players. He coached a player who was top 3 in the world at 21. And pep claims Foden is the best. What a ridiculous claim.
  8. Raw appearances mean nothing. Look at starts, look at minutes played. He played in less than half of their available minutes, 21 games worth out of 50. 18 starts in those 50 games.
  9. 27 sub appearances. He had barely any game time. Dortmund fans say he barely plays. 10 minutes at the end of a game isn't really what I would classify as meaningful game time. Which is what he mostly gets. Playing about 1913 minutes out of a possible 4500 so near enough 40% of the available time.

  11. He played fewer minutes for them in the bundesliga than el ghazi did for us. He barely plays and when he does it's because of an injury concern to Reus. He had 18 total starts last season in what must be over 50 possible games. That is not playing for someone. And he only had that many games because Thorgan Hazard missed half the season through a torn Thigh muscle.
  12. Given your reputation regarding young players I'll take that as affirmation that my views are correct.
  13. Brandt doesn't play. They have Reus, and Formerly sancho now Malen in the 2 behind the striker and they play with a flat midfield Brandt is apparently available for 40 million and he'd be a fantastic signing imo.
  14. So pretty much a donkey then? Because Foden is crap (compared to what people claim he is). He's so overrated. Foden is a fairly average player. I'd feel confident is saying he wouldn't be the best player at any team outside the 3 and Newcastle in the prem.
  15. Cash literally has worse interception and blocking stats than Freddie did lasts season. And Freddie was in the 99th percentile at interceptions this year. Correction cash is marginally better at blocking. Like 0.05 more per 90.
  16. "If only I could have calves as big as him, then maybe you'd love me... "
  17. We couldn't have kept him. He new he could no longer get the wages he wants as first choice. So he joined the club he supports as 2nd or 3rd choice (probably 2nd with how hard united are trying to move de gea) rather than be backup to a player who is arguably in the top 5 keeper in world football and is seemingly indestructible.
  18. Messi has 4 goals and 5 assists on 6 games.
  19. Video of the penalty shootout. Video https://youtu.be/2UkbKCOyDvI
  20. We didn't get rid of Heaton. He wanted to leave because if he was going to be a backup he might as well do it at the club he supports.
  21. Guilbert is not close to as reckless as Cash. I know he has that appearance but he only has like 3 or 4 career red cards in like 220+ games. And one of them was this season. I also don't remember him giving away a penalty although I could be wrong. Guilbert is like McGinn he racks up the yellows but doesn't pickup the reds.
  22. Might have had it at home when he came into the ground. Or he signed his contract a little while ago, and they were waiting to announce it with the others.
  23. They apparently offered more. We offered it up front.
