Absolutely valid point. He inherited all this but chose when each got revealed. He must have known the sponsor was not well receieved (he should be instantly sacked if he did not), and the idea that releasing this on the morning you reveal the new kit was the right thing to do is laughable. As for the the badge, I guess whenever they reveal that only the kit will feature it, it is going to put a dampener on the kit reveal. Probably better not to do it after so fans know what they're buying. But arguably, better not to do it long before so it massively undermines the kit reveal hype before it's even happened. As to whether its the right call, I am optimistically thinking he's made the most of a bad situation that he inherited, and we'll see the benefits of that next season. I can only hope.

Wonder if Heck has seen one of Dragon Rouges other designs they did for us in the concept phase, and decided that would be miles better. I expect we'll end up with something far more spurs like, with just a lion and our name.

But again, that will be to late to have it in place for our 150th year. It needs to be designed and agreed now, to be ready for next season. Badge looks lovely on the shirt. Not updating the digital platform is just amateur, and I'm convinced it was not planned that way.

Wonder if Barca inserted the clause because they genuinely believed we might sell him on for a decent fee, or if they inserted as a means of making us believe they thought there was a valuable player in there. In the latter scenario, they might have known he was crocked and be laughing at us for taking him off their hands. In the former, maybe we've got unlucky and he'll demonstrate he can stay fit this season.

Ahh, so I can expect one of those videos that has lots of dark shots of the kit, epileptic fit inducing flashes, and close up detailed shots of the badge that leave you with no idea what the kit actually looks like?

Exactly. So selling him this season isn't a viable option. Much better to keep him, see if he can sustain his fitness, and then develop some form under Emery. Another year of injury and we might be able to claim some insurance on the write-off.

Amazed they've got to the supposed day before release with no leaks at all. To the point where if Ty hadn't confirmed it I'd be very sceptical that it is actually happening. Other than stripe rumours, we've got nothing. Intriguing!

Yes, he's an idiot and calling out the wrong issue. The issue is will they only use it, or mostly use it, to help the clubs they own. Distorting the fair play market as much as Man City did with their illegal off book payments

Seems the equivalent command in iPhone safari might be "copy". Rather than copying the image, it copies the URL. Give it a try...

If you are opening the gif in a website, the url will be the whole webpage. I don't really use iPhone, but if you tap and hold on the image can you get an "open image in new tab" option? Then it loads just the gif itself, and the url will be the gif, rather than the whole website

I've never had that issue linking any gif I found via Google. Are you sure it applies to direct links?

The sky 6 PL clubs don't get permission to play in the Saudi super league. Saudi offers them more money than the PL prize money for finishing first. They abandon the PL and go and play on Saudi. This scenario is surely possible. A new club rises from the stadium ashes left behind that is made up of the players that didn't want to go. The government have some rules on cultural heritage associated with clubs don't they, so maybe this can't happen legally and they have to set up the new club in Saudi... but will Saudi pay the money for a club that isn't really Man United?

In the UK... as Trensa says its a totally different culture that he's part of. Can he start now or has he got to wait till 1st July? I read we'd bought out his notice embargo, but can't remember seeing if he can start immediately.

Upsets, but the very definition, are not the norm. But over the last few years a number of seeded sides have failed to make the QR3. I'm sure i read that one seeded side had dropped out every year, but might be making that last stat up. There is very much hope for us yet.
