    I also think with players like Makoun and Bradley in the side who can keep the ball better and protect the defence more we can afford to have more attacking full backs.

    Makoun is running the midfield at the moment. looks class. Downing looks good aswell. I dont actually think Young has been that bad, thought he's looked very bright and busy. Petrov and Dunne have been shocking.

    Love the way Makoun is looking to play the ball forward. Especially as our other central midfielder seems incapable of doing so.

    no mate..lets say we had the jm £7mil plus davis £ today ...were close on £10mil..that would be enough to see adams in a villa shirt,i think adams would make a impact now,this is what villa need like darren bent,hes wasnt cheap but hes ready now. Makoun was closer to £4-5 million. How is Adam worth £10 million? What's he done, compared to Makoun? Proved he can play in the premiership? (granted its only been 6 months but still). Ill judge Makoun after a few more games. Everyone thinks he is a world beater on here, ill believe it when I see it.

    Ill judge a players performance by watching the game and seeing what they do rather than looking at some stupid picture with a load of arrows pointing in meaningless directions. Downing was poor against Wigan, which has been unlike him this season. Decent player. Still think he has a lot more ability than he shows.

    Delphonso just needs a run of games. Im not sure its the right stage of the season to do this considering the position were in, but he just needs to be given 5 straight games to see what he's capable of doing. Tell the lad he will play the next 5 games no matter how many goals he scores. only then will we be able to see how good he is.

    I honestly cant believe how one man can become manager of a club and single handedly piss every player/fan/employee/owner of the company off in such a short period of time. Were a laughing stock. Id love to support him, but the guys a joke. Quite simple, a joke.

    General, I was in full support of Houllier before tonights game. I even think that given time and a transfer window he could do well for this club.... But. The comments after tonights game are just unbelievable. Utterly ridiculous. The guy should be discliplined! If he likes Liverpool so much he should manage them! He is AVFC manager. Shocked

    Totally Agree. With: Bannan, Downing, Young, Albrighton A couple of signings in the positions you mentioned and that is a hell of a decent team.
