I lose count how many tuimes carew loses the ball in a match. Everytime he gets it I just expect him to lose it. For all his faults, that part of Heskeys game is on a different level to Carews.

We have seventeen players who have started at least ten games this season. and a centre half playing right back who cant pass or cross.

So do I, the time for rotation has been and gone now. yup. that ship sailed a good few months ago now. Still though, before a derby game perhaps? Whether we finish 5th/7th etc id love a win on Sunday. We needed to rotate a little earlier your right. Annoying really. come to think of it, Do all the villa players even turn up for training? We might aswell just have 11 players training. No need for the other lads to turn up. To be fair though, they'd only headbutt each other anyway.

Why have you been spending 5 days a week with the team on the training pitch? know the exact energy levels of the players? confidence? niggling injuries? who wants to play? who isn't in the right frame of mind to play? who's getting along? who's butting heads? so on and so forth? or are you basing your opinion on nothing? So then what your saying is, all of the other professional footballers in our squad dont have any energy levels, are low on confidence, all have injuries, hate each other and are headbutting each other all the time. But that XI are perfect. they never 'but heads'. Niave thinking my friend. We have a squad for a reason. We just refuse to use it. And it costs us.

Milners a very good player but we can come out of this well if we play our cards right. Say MON has a 20m budget in the summer which I think is a fair figure to suggest. If a club like United or City come in for the player then we can ask for a player plus cash deal. In Uniteds case, take Anderson +10m Or city, take Ireland +15m. Both players are young and you have an immediate replacement. Not only do you have a replacement, you have an extra 10m which takes our budget to 30m. Then MON goes out and buys the no.10 we've been desperate for now for two seasons and a quality right back. Dont get me wrong tho, I want Milner to stay. Villa will never improve if they keep selling there best players to teams above them. It will send out all the wrong signals if we sell Milner and i for one would question RL and MON for doing so. Especially RL. UpTheVilla

For the first time ever avfcprideofbrum, I completely agree. I like Carew because he scores goals, but everytime he gets the ball I just know he's gonna lose it. Thought Warnock/Dunne/Collins were immense. People are saying Sidwell was immense, mmmm not sure, didnt really see him much! Good point against a good team. Ireland is a class act for them.

Completely agree. 4-5-1 is such a negative formation to play, however with our current crop of central midfielders, its the only way we can play. The fact that so many villa fans advocate the use of the 4-5-1 shows how poor we are in certain positions.

Three to four games? Utter rubbish. Petrov had to be the luckiest player in a villa shirt last year. Half the season he played in a 4-5-1 formation whereby a poor/average central midfielder can be made to look good due to the extra man in there with you. In a 4-4-2 he was carried by Gareth Barry, a class act in my opinion. All Petrov does is pass it back and forth to the Defence. When was the last time He actually hurt the opposition with a telling pass, or beat a man, or had a dangerous shot on goal. He offers absoultely nothing. Oh, and he is incredibly lethargic aswell. Nowhere near fit enough to play CM in the premier league. Villa's most overrated player.

But i also dont want: Petrov Cuellar Davies Beye shorey or Gabby Playing either. So im **** whatever the team is.
