  1. Is that with Lansbury too? We could definitely go into the season without him. There's more space in the squad if we needed it.
  2. Does have the feel of making space in the squad and wage bill. Why get rid completely if it's an area we are already fairly light in if we haven't got others coming in. As some wild speculation goes.... Perhaps rashica/bremen was waiting for a top German club. Sancho staying at Dortmund by the looks, now with the news Bayern are looking to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi. Perhaps no other club has come in for him with a good enough offer? Perhaps we've been given the green light to get rashica sorted and hence we are making space for him now. All wild speculation of course.
  3. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion. I won't criticise that. I will ask, however, what it would take for you even to jump over the 50/50 barrier and support Smith, bearing in mind the change he has made at this club and the difference from the day he took over to the here and now? I'm just slightly baffled what more he could've done. I'd also like to think that, when you mention in game changes, you are considering that the bench last year and beginning of this consisted of players who played the other night. Players now largely not considered good enough. Players who are now taking lots of abuse for their performances. Dean would've seen this the whole time and clearly, clearly didn't trust them. Hence the no subs. Genuinely, I'm not sure what more he could've done.
  4. What @Sulberto21 was getting at I think. One of these posts is just abuse and keyboard warrior like. The other is a description of why the poster doesn't what the player at our club. These viler one liners of personal abuse are the lowest of the low.
  5. I see it on here too. I've seen people wishing broken legs on players. I've seen people (in the last couple of days) call a player a waste of skin. Is he really a waste of skin? Do his friends and family agree with that. Mindless idiots that do that are the lowest of the very low. P.s you've outdone yourself with the spelling of Ciaran Clark.
  6. Did he say 'tartare' on his way out?
  7. I think it might get a bit salty in here after that pun.
  8. Kalinic, nyland, Lansbury, guilbert/Elmo could all probably leave without causing any worries to the squad. Who else could go without causing issues to the squad?
  9. There isn't much of that is there? I'd say 90% of posters agree that more is needed. I really haven't seen many say they wouldn't like more. I think it's unlikely we will get more, but to make a post about something that's not really being said is a bit strange, to me.
  10. Where has their confidence come from? Reading their forum, I think they are all expecting to win. Whoever said Konsa is gash is going to have a big surprise over the next few years. There have been a total of 5 goals in their last 6 games (for and against) so expect them to make this a dull as shit. 1-0 and onwards to the quarters!!
  11. I like that jack has pretty much forced Southgate to pick him given his start to the season and his cameo before. It's the only way Jack will regularly get into the England squad with Southgate around, don't give him a choice. Interesting thing is, who will he drop when foden/greenwood return? Barnes would be one, then who?
  12. I think el ghazi should stay if we don't bring another forward in. He's not good enough but he may get the odd few minutes or so.
  13. He already is. And, from what weve seen of Watkins so far, I'd agree with you there too. I really, really like Konsa and think he's been a revelation particularly the last few months. Id put him above Mings at the moment, in all honesty.
  14. He's ok. It's a bit like guilbert was ok. But we've seen someone come in who, on face value, seems good so far and the impact that has on us as a whole. Ideally, I'd like the similar upgrade on the left side. Doesn't look like happening, however.
  15. Even if this is the case, we cannot complain. We have improved dramatically. We are all being greedy and wanting more, but it's been a very good summer. A LB, a new winger/forward, potentially even a new cover CB are all things we could possibly do with. But, if that is the end, then we've had a fantastic summer. Next summer's positional wishlist is already there.
  16. Seeing it in paper like this really makes me realise how theres one player that sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of how I rate them. Targett is a big weak link to me.
  17. Is Luis Saha the brother of Louis Saha?
  18. You've answered you're own question here really, I'd you ask me? Firstly, you have traore down twice. But, secondly and most importantly, you have 6 players for the front 3 positions. (ST, AML, AMR). 1 isn't good enough and should be moved on. AEG. 2 are squad players (Trez and Davis) and we all agreed last year that this should be the case. That leaves 3 definite starters for 3 remaining positions. It's nowhere near enough in respect to competition for places. We pick up an injury, suspension, tiredness with this tight season and we are screwed in those attacking areas. We need more absolutely, 100%. We don't want to be moving players from the CM position to cover these forward areas and take away from the CM position. Of those 7 players you have for those positions: 1 isn't good enough (Lansbury), Ramsey is young and untried on a regular PL level. He's shown a hell of a lot of promise, I'll grant you. Nakamba has had a tough first year and needs time to adapt and develop in the prem league. We aren't as stocked as you seem to make it. Denying us and extra attacking player would leave us in a similar position to last year, we need options. It's something we had nothing of last year. It's a long season, we need to rotate and have options. An extra attacking player (one that covers all 3 attacking spaces, ideally) is IMO exactly what we need!!
  19. Lansbury or el ghazi the other to leave I'd hope.
  20. Plays with 11 men behind the ball and yet score 5. Edit - just see @Xela made this exact comment. Can't believe I've sunk to your level!
  21. Cuisance or barkley? I've absolutely no doubt who I would prefer.
  22. Just spent way, way too long watching this GIF. I can still see her moving now even though I've looked away.
  23. He didn't report the deal was close or anything. Why should we suddenly believe he knows about the deal and the ins and outs of who we want to sign and the like. It's clear that the media aren't very ITK about us.
  24. Let's hope so. Great way around FFP and potentially a brilliant midfield for a number of years if it works out.
