  1. Load of rubbish, how many times did Harry Redknapp use that line.
  2. I honestly don't think we will ever sell him, let's just hope he has had a reality check and actually starts helping Villa again.
  3. The way I see it, it's another player who just should never have been allowed to become an Aston Villa player, we went through a weird stage of signing cheap unknown players and he is one of the last ones from that era. Aston Vills shouldn't be signing players with no pedigree or even a degree of being a hot prospect, we should be signing the hourihanes and Bree's, the Juan pablo angel's, the brad friedels, the carbone's, mellbergs, laursens, etc, not players who are not on any other clubs radar! Sorry kinda went off point there and then struggled to think of actual decent players we have signed in the past. Ohh Milner, Downing, Young, Carew, Walker!
  4. Every time he scores he rips is shirt in half?
  5. Yeah true price is big but the player? im not overwhelmed or underwhelmed, I am whelmed.
  6. Hulk Hogan would be bigger! Rhodes would be bigger, hell McCormack was bigger!
  7. Big signing..... Championship big might not be seen as that big tho. personally I'd love it to be Bentekkers, must be the only club in England he has felt adored, so why not come back here for a good wage and be a hero again.
  8. Tony this was fun at first, but now it just hurts my head trying to understand, please use a simpler formula, cheers.
  9. Bit more then an average championship forward to be fair.
  10. Ronaldo! Imagine what he could do in the championship!
  11. Again I get your point but there's a reason some players rise to greatness and others fade away, Ayew while having ability doesn't have the mentality and will fade away into obscurity.
  12. Play a striker in a strikers position and he plays well, blimey that's a turn up. Would love to see Ayew given the central striker role.
  13. I get your point but to be fair, Moore and McGrath are a much higher pedigree then Ayew, that's the difference between greatness.
  14. I liked Ayew, he has ability, just shame we only see glimpses of it, and I think that's cos his hearts no longer in it. He probably came to Villa thinking we were turning a corner like a lot of us did during that ill fated transfer window, instead we get relegated, the owner sells, 4 managers get sacked, supporter protests, crap players around him, no wonder he is jaded and not the player he could be. You just know he will start banging them in again when he leaves us.
  15. Rhodes is a top goal scorer at this level, consistently near the top of goal scoring charts, would be a good signing to make, plus means none of our rivals would have him either.
  16. Funny one, cos Elphick was a really good defender at this level, would say he was better then Baker, but I dunno what's happened to him.
  17. Ulloa was great for Brighton when he was there in this league
  18. 100% better then this time last year, that was probably the most depressing January on record, the moment you knew everyone at the club had all but given up and Remi Garde learnt he had been royally stitched up.
  19. Except that game against Sunderland a few years back
  20. Grealish is a decent player, but not fussed if he left, I doubt we would miss his presence. Rhodes and his goals could get us promoted, Grealish and whatever it is he does sadly won't.
