  1. Big big cull, but I think it is the right approach
  2. OK, so i struggled a bit with this one because it is a bit different format: So I think that there are two potential incomings, but we don't know where we stand with them (one is a swap) and there are between 6 and 8 players leaving and this one is pretty funny:
  3. Well, with his impressive record of four promotions and his extensive knowledge of this league it should have been a walk in the park for him.
  4. One of whom looks to have told us to "**** off"
  5. True, if there was a nuclear holocaust, the only things that would survive would be cockroaches. And Alan Hutton.
  6. It wont be 7 games though will it? It will be 30+ last season plus 7 this season to assess whether after 2 transfer windows he has managed to make the most expensively assembled championship squad in history look like a team. So far he has not done that. What is our preferred formation? Who are our preferred players? What is our starting 11? What is our plan? What is our team identity? Where are the partnerships on the pitch? Which players are on the same wavelength? None of these questions have been answered other than "hoof it to Kodjia and hope he does something", or recently "hoof it to Kodjia and .... ah shit he's not playing."
  7. I am sick of hearing "he has 4 promotions" and "his CV speaks for itself" What speaks for me is the utter garbage we see on the pitch, no tactics, no skill, no ideas, just hoof and hope, no idea what to do in the final third and the defence sitting deeper and deeper as the game goes on. No improvement over 30+ games If I saw some glimmer of change I might think, "yes, he can get us promoted" but he just looks clueless. Don't give me this shite about he has made us harder to beat, he hasn't - the stats just don't back it up. We have not looked convincing under his tenure - ever. I honestly do not know how the hell he managed to get those other teams promoted, but he has shown zero chance off doing it with us. What is insanity is clinging to the hope he will because he has done it before. He hasn't done it here, and he hasn't shown anything to make me think he will. I am a Villa fan, so I really hope I am wrong (proven wrong by us winning the league (or at least getting promoted - not some smart arse saying "nah, your wrong"). I am just terrified that I will be proven right.
  8. We get through the day by not watching Villa. Then Villa play. Then we lose all hope again. Watching this garbage does that to a person. Dont care about the scoreline, but do care about the dire dire performance. Against a league 1 second XI. WTF?????
  9. Throw the 'it's happening' gif in there and you've got yourself a party. You forgot this......
  10. I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it.
  11. I dont think it was just his age. Most people were very concerned about his health and after beating cancer not wanting him to risk his future.
  12. And still more mobile and skillful than Micah Richards
  13. We heard you the first time! :-)
  14. All of which are valid points, but miss the key issue that he is a shit footballer. He relied on pace. That pace is leaving him now and he has not adapted his game to make up for that. Impact sub to run at tired defenders from 70 mins onwards, yes maybe he could do a job, but replacement for Kodjia good lord no. That has to be Hogan and McCormack. The reason I would go with McCormack over Gabby is that he does have a footballing brain, can see openings and use them. Gabby cannot.
