    Well it's Villa or Bremen. The coach has said it's very realistic Milot stays at the club after the transfer window shuts. We shall see Saturday's friendly (for them) will give us a massive indication I feel

    Think we need to if we have any hope of progressing and even convincing Jack to sign a new contract. Whilst I think with this squad we'd have a chance of staying up, it would be another relegation battle, one the owners are not willing to risk. And who knows, our 3rd choice striker could be Edouard at £40mil (i.e Dean sees the likes of Watkins at better value but not prepared to pay the £25mill). Point being doesn't mean our 3rd and 4th choices are bad players. It's not going to the likes of Sturridge thank god.

    Personally don't think what other teams do in terms of business will have any affect on how we do ours, and rightly so! Only way I see it affecting us in any way is if they directly buy our targets.

    Quite possibly, but Vardy being 33 how long's he got left? Edouard is 22 potentially coming in with a manger who rates him highly and Leicester in Europe so game time is not an issue. You'd fancy yourself a starter by the season after next. That's how I'd look at it if I were him.

    You say that but a lot of clubs are not in the position we are in that can just spend spend spend without selling. I remember an article saying Leicester may sell Iheanacho to raise funds this summer, so it's not out of the question that now they have got a handsome fee for Chilwell it's persuades them to make a bid for a player Rogers is very keen on. What they won't be doing now, is waiting for Iheanacho to leave before signing his replacement (Edouard). No way they'd risk losing out on him. Could get Edouard and Chilwell replacement with that £50+ mill.

    Very possible! Even though not truly exciting, I'd take him over Watkins. Still only 23.

    I don't think it necessarily suggests signings are close, more so that those players will be leaving this summer and would be stupid to play them to risk injury etc.

    Agreed. I get it's tough to get players in and the market is generally quiet at the moment, but that argument is getting less and less valid everyday. I don't for one second believe we're not trying our hardest to get high quality players in, but we do seem to be struggling to sell the idea we're not a relegation club. One marquee signing and that could all change, but that's where I see us at the moment.

    Perhaps the hesitation is Rashica has a great aunt of English decent and now doubts his potential to be called up by Southgate. That translated German article did mention him wanting to play internationally.

    People couldn't believe Southgate actually said that when villareport first tweeted it (usually posts bullsh*t the fake ITK) because it's so ridiculous. I think it shows his agenda. Yes Mings got picked but what better way to say **** you to the Villa fans than to not pick the golden boy of the club. Almost as if he's picking Mings so he has an excuse. One things for certain, he hasn't forgotten and it at least had an influence. Grow up you Child Snatcher!

    I know at times Barca play Messi as a right winger – that is not as I see him in the way we play. So with us he would be a defender or a 10 and at the moment, we don't play with one and I think we have got players who deserve to be in just ahead of him. The difficulty for Messi is Jack Grealish, Mahmoud Trezeguet, John McGinn and Conor Hourihane. We have got incredible players in those positions, we have got competition for places.

    This seems like a complete rehash of what he said last time, the fact he mentions CHO also makes me this is made up. Not seen these quotes anywhere else and I doubt "Goal.com" have any sort of England exclusives. This isn't legit in my opinion

    I've seen him live a few times for Leeds, and my god, I feel bad for Celtic. Haven't they bought that Ajeti as well? Does seem like they're getting in the replacements. Go get him Villa!

    I heard that from Ash Preece yesterday during his Q&A. Incidentally, he also said Grealish was definitely getting a call up
