Popular opinion seems to be that Ash and Gabby both had their poorest seasons for us last year under the French genius. Gabby had a serious injury that affected him for practically the whole season and took injections to play according to his brother. Both played along side Petrov and neither have reach the level of consistently good performances for their new employers - maybe just maybe it was Petrov doing all the unpleasant things that allowed these two to play to their full potential.

It would be a big problem if that happened ...but it didn't. Some people on here take one bad game by NRC and extrapolate that over the next twenty when he wasn't poor. Usually the same people will take one good game by Petrov and extrapolate over the next twenty when he is dross. I can see people dining out on Petrov's Blackburn game like they did with the Man City 1-0 for weeks of awful performances.
