Mine too. You left out the best, Hacksaw Jim Duggan Hoooooooo!
Just watched Rumble Rumble 2011 for nostalgias sake. Jesus it was shit! So played out and Ive seen the show as recently as about 3 years ago and it looks a hell of a lot shitter.
*shakes head sadly*
Recipe for an Adam Sandler movie
1/2 cup of shit acting
2lbs forced laughs
2 Tbs of humiliation
1 tsp of toilet humour
A liberal sprinkling of unmeditated violence, if kicks in the balls are in season use freely
It insists upon itself.
'How can you say that? WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!'
Cause it takes forever getting in, and you spend, you spend like six and a half hours, and then, you - I can’t even get through, I haven’t even seen the ending.
True that. My nerdiest claim is that I tried out for the Irish National CS and TFC teams.
Considering that it came out about 16 years after I started playing games on the Vic20 not sure about it's nostalgia values but hey Half Life is 13 years old now(time flies). It was to a lot of contemporary games what Star Wars was to movies similar movies when it came out. IMO it pissed all over the Quake engine.
As far as first-person shooters go I think one that deserves an honourable mention and one of the funnest games I've ever played and still d/l for free is:
Not factually accurate though. They left out the fact that the AB's were intentionally poisoned before the final.
That isn't just Kiwi sour grapes either as Clint Eastwood said when asked about it. Mandelas head of security was convinced of it and a private detective found a far-eastern betting syndicate had paid a hotel waitress to spike their coffee.
Says the man who wants Houllier .. If we had Fat Sam from the start of the season we wouldn't be where we are now. shit football his teams play, but atleast he can set his teams up to be motivtated, he can get to do a thing called defend and he makes his teams very hard to beat..
What happened at Newcastle? Do you have selective memory?
No fooling, Starship Troopers is THE best American Imperialism satire out there.
Paul Verhoeven will always be one of my favourite directors.
Robocop - Brilliant
Total Recall - Awesome
Starship Troopers - Genius
Showgirls - ehh... no comment
Started watching Inception last week, switched it off after about 45mins thought it was dire.
I watched it all the way through but I just don't get where the high praise comes from. I watch a lot of films and mark them all on IMDB. No way is this more than a seven.
People are easily blinded by hype it seems.
Joan Rivers on Charlie Sheen:
"All this Charlie Sheen news reminds me of seeing “Inception.” I have no idea what the hell is going on, but can't wait to see how it ends."
What if he finishes higher in his first season than MON? Niether had much of a preseason and both want/ed to stamp there own style of play on the team. Houllier is probably not use to so many kick-and-rush cloggers in a squad.
And? What kind of logic is that? Talk sense.
Kicking out the manager on the basis of an incomplete season without time to build a team that plays his way is just plain stupid.
Better?
Pretty much. It must be my Kiwi accent.
