Never want to see Olsen play for us again, McGinn was his usual rubbish self .... told you lot we should have sold him two summers ago! No idea why we rested so many with only one game left to play. Other than that Emery made good use of subs -
I never want to see him play for us again, that was awful and I haven't seen him play well for us before. Need to go out and purchase someone in January

McGinn is a good player in the right system with the right role. It won't take Emery long to work out what to do with the squad.

I'm going to stick my oar in and then sod off again as it is just a general comment. Due to the fact that Emery is such a details manager and will drill the players to be much better as a unit..... I find it odd that people are saying we need this or that position to be filled with the exception of where there is numerical holes in the squad such as the full backs. We won't go down with Emery at the helm and we should see who does and doesn't fit into the way he plays before casting people aside.

He is genuine, a guy like him could have went to a tin pot league for 25m a year.

Do you realise how many players are actually WORTH 60m? How many transfers of that size actually justify the fee? - very few

I don't think we as a club are in a place to be spending £60m on one player. We could still do with some 20-30m players before getting to 60m players and that is IF the owners want to continue spending so much

Happy with the appointment, I'll be honest I felt the only guarantee of 'success' for us after appointing a manager was Tuchel which was always going to be highly unlikely but out of the other 10 or so managers I felt could do really well here Unai Emery was one of those so lets just enjoy getting better and see where we have got to in 2 and a bit seasons..... One thing is for sure it will be a damn sight better than Gerrard.
