    No idea on what our budget may be but I would be looking for a DCM and either a starting centre back, a loan because I'm not buying a starting centre back or a young centre back with lots of promise as it isn't absolutely vital we buy a starting centre back which is true. I will caveat that I think the biggest improvement we could make is a new manager and I feel the best opportunity's in the market right now is on wide forwards and DCM's

    It would be nice but one assumes if we did that it would have to be a player already playing in the league as a CD or CM........ Answers on whom that may be is difficult and VERY expensive, JWP has been mentioned in the past and that is going to cost you 50m for an above average number 8 and no better who is world class at set pieces. Maybe that is enough for some people but I would want the promise of a bit more for that sort of money personally.

    1. He has 10 months left on his contract 2. It appear not this summer however he will be on a free in January when of course he would have his pick assuming he has an OK season. For what it is worth I am not overly keen on signing him.

    I know you are taking the piss but I would have him for 20m. He has been signed for a ridiculous fee and asked to do things he can’t do…. That isn’t his fault.
