    I totally agree with this, we need to know when someone comes sniffing at 40m for a player we should easily be able to buy better than with the money, to sell!

    I'd largely go with this too, the only exception really is when you have a player who is so important to the way a team plays the goals he scores aren't his primary role..... some people MIGHT say that about Watkins. I would agree if he always got 15 league goals.

    I am of the opinion we should sign no one until the summer unless a real opportunity comes up to sign someone we wouldn't be able to do so otherwise for some reason. We need to see who does well and what holes we have under Emery's system. If we are smart we will keep him around for for a few years at least.

    I've said for years we should sign him, our chance went when he signed for Roma and we wasted our money on Ings. He isn't worth the risk/reward ratio at 50m

    Don't talk rot, if we can't expect better than 1-3/1-4 then there is no point buying the player as we already have several of those at the club.
