It answers almost all of your points. as for supposed new rules not being crippling, the 85% is apparently for wages and amortisation. We spend 89% on wages without amortisation, it would be crippling. the current system going to 70% for wages on its own would be far better for us as we can game the FFP system on amortisation

    People have already set the figures out to show how it helps massively. i suggested getting rid of 12 and bringing in 5 that leaves you with more players that actually play, also it should be considered we have 2 coming back in the summer that haven’t played all year. It sorts FFP and wages out

    Errr no, they wouldn't if newcastle brought all our expensive players we would have a **** ton of cash to buy more players. Lets make one thing clear, to be the top the best of the best costs just an insane amount of money and in your example it would cost even more. We in turn would receive an insane amount of money which we would then pay to foreign clubs for their players which Newcastle would then want to buy. We may never win the league in that world but it wouldn't be that hard to get CL

    We signed two players for about 20m.......... that could have been spent on a midfielder. We could have loaned someone with an obligation to buy in the summer. Sorry but no.

    Assuming the figures are correct. As I keep saying selling a player for a huge FFP profit solves this problem entirely.

    perhaps the fan base will now accept that having 4 players who can play in central midfield is dumb when some of them are first team in other positions like McGinn or often coming on as a sub in other positions like Tielemans..... The same goes for right back

    This game went badly from the off I noticed in the first minute how fast they were. the five at the back didn’t work several players really didn’t turn up. captain banned for three games lost three points when everyone else picked up three and even lost our goal difference advantage. The midfield looks tired and now only has three players left one of which is a youth player.
