  1. So if we paid him the 100k a week it would be the exact same. Not to an accountant it's not
  2. RT @Matt_Law_DT: Hope Benteke does well at Liverpool. Good stepping stone for him

  3. Maybe he failed the medical, previous injury not healing correctly, showing up as a red flag on a scan and they are debating whether to take a chance or not.
  4. He seems to be technically quite proficient. I remember him hitting a nice arching volley against some team during Benteke's absence that either hit the bar or was tipped over. Think it might have been Hull or possibly Stoke? I think there is more to him than a lot of people think.
  5. Hope @C_Clark_6 is lining up one of his specials for Man City's visit

  6. When this thread gets moved to "Other Football" I think I'll actually vomit.
  7. RT @talkSPORTKO: POLL: Who is the biggest snake, Fabian Delph or Raheem Sterling? #MCFC RT - Delph FAV - Sterling http://t.co/E7DwoOwclM

  8. To be honest I’m not bothered. I'm very suspicious of any new owners as at least we have a number of positives about the club right now. Namely: - Fox seems to know how to sustainably run a club. No more lurching from one crisis to the next with no direction - The team that showed nothing under Lambert for 2/3 of the season showed some fight and endeavour under Sherwood - There is enough positivity around to convince an in demand Fabian Delph to stay. - We might lose our best player but we will be well rewarded for it. He owes us nothing and we need either him or the money so it's win/win. - Jack Grealish has a full season to impress and continue his development into hopefully one of the most exciting young players in the league. Potential pitfalls of a change in ownership: - Totalitarian owner who attempts to mold the club in his image (Hull Tigers - relegated, Cardiff Reds - relegated, Blackburn Chicken Distributors Ltd - relegated) - Removal of Fox/Sherwood before we have a chance to see what they can produce - Leveraged takeover that puts all of the risk back onto the club with a quick exit strategy for the buyers - We lose a chairman who may no longer be invested in the club long term but he definitely cares, there’s no doubt he wants to see the club succeed.
  9. RT @Whisky_Jean: Irish dudes be reeeeaaal quiet now. #UFC189

  10. I take it back. I hope all of his future airport experiences are without incident.
  11. Hope his career goes so well here that we can all come back in to call him a pr1ck when he moves to city in 2 years.
  12. I hope when he books his holidays with his wife he forgets she still has her maiden name on her passport and books the seat under her married name. Then we he gets to the airport he queues for check in but when he gets to the desk he gets told he has to pay to have her name changed on the ticket. Then he gets told he cant pay it there but has to queue at another desk to pay it. The pr1ck.
  13. Another decent signing. We're on a roll...
  14. RT @FIFA_Forfeits: Beat your opponent with Greece by 5 or more goals and your opponent must cover all your expenses for the next month.

  15. Over. Cant believe how bad those cavs players are. Amazing lbj has got them this far. Though it counts for nothing #NBAFinals

  16. "Right Custodians" "Cheque Cleared"
  17. RT @FootballCarbon: Cost-per-Point Premier League: #SCFC pip #AVFC to the title, #MUFC are bottom & #thfc finish above #AFC! http://t.co/Hn…

  18. Blatter being re-elected is good. If someone gives him up he now has further to fall. Much better to bring down the current president #fifa

  19. Love Okore. Hope he hasn't suffered a set back by playing through pain. It was obvious he was crocked against Southampton, people complaining about his pace! He's an absolute flyer for a centre half!
  20. Losing Gerrard is a positive. They no longer have him hanging around and Rodgers worrying about having to find room for the "icon" who has become a liability. To be fair Benteke with a fit Sturridge would be formidable but Liverpool are such a shitbox of a club, massively entitled despite endless failure. They're Spurs with a better history.
  21. I don't know what more people want from Zog. Did you see the way he created the space for Cleverley's goal? He's an integral part or our attack. No way could Bacuna do what he does. Bacuna is an attacking wing back with a lot to learn. Madness to move Bacuna out of the position he's been growing into and drop N'Zogbia for no good reason.
  22. It's not the time for trying new things. We're trying to get safe. We don't owe it to Gil to try him out at the moment. There's too much at stake. The current set up is working really really well. It would be madness to break it up at such an important time of the season just to give Gil a chance. It's the same with Sinclair, while he was injured the players who were playing performed excellently so you have to spend some time on the bench. The summer is coming up and there's a chance to get into Sherwood's plans with a full season ahead rather than just a relegation scrap. If he or any other player spits the dummy out and wants to leave before then then good riddance.
