Well it’s not impossible. In the last 2-3 seasons we’ve all seen Nuno, Benitez and Bielsa managing championship teams. All top class managers.

I don’t think he is the right man for us mate.

The quality is clearly lacking. There’s no debate there. This is where the manager is so crucial. Smith hasn’t been able to get the best out of what he has. Ultimately he has to be accountable.

The players and manager are good enough for the championship. Even with minimal changes I expect us to be challenging for top 2. But we need to be thinking beyond just promotion. We need to be looking at a manager that will not just bring us up. He will also keep us up.

I love your posts. You’re able to write everything Im thinking but in an articulate way. Whenever I try I always mess it up! How does this work? Somebody at the door taking temperatures? Is this for all major stores? since lockdown the only shop I’ve entered is my local offie.

If Labour has won and we ended up in a similar mess then everybody that voted labour would he called pricks too. Everyone that votes is a prick in someones eyes. edit: I’m the prick that didn’t even vote!

I came around a few months back mate. I just respect the guy for what he did getting us back up. Would hate to see it get nasty.

Smith has to be replaced. He’s not the right manager for us.

Steer was second choice keeper this season. Reina was bought in because he was injured along with Heaton.

Anybody who votes Wesley as our worst player of the season simply knows nothing about football.

Depends on Watford. If they got hammered next 2 games then we could be 3 points behind with 1 game to go and a closer goal difference. But realistically it’s beat Arsenal or go down really.

He was never meant to be first choice. He’s one for the future and it will be bright. Played well but should have dealt with the clearance. Was unlucky. Prefer him there to Hause anyway.

We did and we also had no midfield. I can’t see any current premier league team paying that for him this summer. Maybe a European team will attempt a loan with a clause to buy?
