    To be fair 90% of teams in the league would have made more of that amount of freekicks in dangerous areas we get because of Jack. I can’t believe how bad we are at them. Any free kick or corner is just not a threat! In fact was the Elmo goal the first headed goal from a corner this season? I’m struggling to think of another. edit: just remembered Engels goal.

    I suppose he has got the look as well. It’s a glamorous signing in many ways. I still think he’s a bit overrated. Maybe if we stay up the fee will be a lot higher.

    True. I just think if Jack was an 80 million pound player or even a 50 million pound player he would be doing more for us right now. I’d look at the 5 teams in the scrap and say we’re the only team with a world class player so we have a chance. Unfortunately we’re just not being able to say that.

    No way is he worth 80 million. Man U paid around 50 million for Fernandaz and he is a better player than Grealish in my opinion. I think if we get 50 million for Grealish we’d have done well.

    Lose Jack, keep the rest. A few additions, a few loans from the top flight. I’d expect us to be favourites to come up no matter who the manager is.

    He won the league with Monaco which whilst a great achievement that was one hell of a Monaco team he managed. Not sure how much involvement he has in assembling that team.

    If we do not think he will ever be the man to take us forward in the Premier League then we should make a change at the end of the season whether we get relegated or not.

    I think he has to go regardless of where we finish. We aren’t seeing improvement. Yes you can point to the players being poor but surely as team we should be improving rather than stagnating or getting worse. I really like the guy and his done a great job for us in getting us up and getting us to a final. But I think this league is a step to far.

    I guess other teams have managed the odd result against the top half teams. I think we have managed 1 point all season from teams in top half which is why the 6 pointer games have been so crucial for us.

    If we get relegated it’s not because of these last 10 games. It’s because of how poor our record has been against teams around us. Especially away from home. Now we have quite a few fixtures against much better teams and are struggling to pick up points. Without our home crowd it’s become even harder. i think the damage has been done.

    We’ve lost to the 2 most inform teams in the league in Wolves and Chelsea. Palace and united are both in good form too. The form of the teams in our remaining fixtures is what is going to cost us. I’m just hoping Liverpool field a weak team to give us a slight chance.
