    I agree with this. But it was not because he was playing poorly. It was because he just kept it simple rather than forcing things. Didn’t over do it. Which as a villa fan I’m very glad about and need him fresh for Saturday. It was pretty much a training session. Foden not having played in the last 2 internationals definitely put a lot more in to it. I didn’t see last 20 minutes but if he scores 2 he definitely deserves motm and the headlines.

    I didn’t get a screenshot so wont be able to prove. But 100% my balance had increased and there was a tick next to settled bet. Pretty scandalous they changed it afterwards.

    Don’t mind him playing like this for England. it’s like a training session and he is keeping it simple. He is looking to release the ball very quickly so shouldn’t get taken out.

    Yeh it’s a the price of having a good team. To be fair a lot of the big teams have the same problem. The issue is we haven’t got much of a squad. Our players such as Mcginn, Luiz and Jack are crucial to us. I wonder how many Brighton players have had to play a lot of minutes this week.

    Against Arsenal he wasn’t your typical disciplined defensive midfield when we got the ball. When he got forward or went out wide McGinn covered him and Vice versa. I think this worked well.

    That’s a sexy finish. Very confident. I always said this lad had ability he was just too slow and lacked a turn of pace. He seems to have worked on this part of his game and looks quite improved. I remember many said he wouldn’t cut it in the Championship. I personally think he would have thrived. Whilst I still think he will eventually be cover for Trarore. He is still a very important player for us.

    Apparently Southgate is playing his strongest team tomorrow which means Jack will feature. Would have preferred him to get a rest before Saturday.

    I remember I lost my bearings and ended up where the away fans normally are in the upper Doug Ellis. I was shocked at how small the concourse is!

    True. Before my time but what was the rest of the Napoli and Argentina team like compared to Maradonna. Did he carry that team as much as people make out or were their a lot of other good players too?

    I love Jack. Great player and a joy to watch. But some of the best in the world stuff is way of OTT. If he really is that good he should be carrying us to top 6. Then again maybe he will!
