Well looks like he is part of sherwood's plan and not being ostracized or sold or out of favour as we were constantly reminded - was just not what Sherwood thought would handle a relegation battle which is much more difficult in the PL than in Spain. Once he starts or is in the match day squad can we now move on and accept that he's now here and is staying (I suppose until the first time he is not in the match day squad) then the same old same old will start again. It's alright Tim - when someone asks you if you have money to spend don't say we have to sell just say yeah we have money - then watch as teams put up the prices - we MAY have to sell to buy (I doubt it - as who have we sold for the money spent on Gueye and the other bid that's gone in for Avami) and no It's not in anticipation of Benteke going or spent in anticipation of Delph going also - no one knows not any of the ITK's on here (apart from Trent ). The money from sales so far is not enough to cover the money spent. I am fully aware we need to strengthen but transfers take time when it involves lengthy negotiation. Have a little patience. Fox would have budgeted for Transfer without the need to sell - any extra from sales is a bonus (and no that DOES NOT go into Lerner's pocket as some seem to claim). I personally think there are at least two more coming in and they will be for positions that we need to strengthen .Just my version of whats going on anyway.

Don't care - no one player is bigger than this club - never has never will - we've survived before (and football does exist outside of the premier league) the only reason teams want to get to the PL is the money - not to win the title - because it's nigh on impossible with the Sky Teams. Get rid and take the FULL amount (less the amount to give Genk). Hang on why the hell was Gil playing ? By all accounts on here he was off and we'd never see him in a villa shirt again. Glad he's getting a chance he looks quality. Think with no pressure of relegation he'll have a part to play this season. Maybe that's why there was no wanting out comment from player or agent as they were probably told he would get a chance this season (just my opinion and not based on any facts whatsoever )

I'll probably get banned but so what. If delphs a prick well so are some fans who are prize pricks for jumping in before it's even confirmed. Just like we say itsotp or itsabh because we don't believe a word about signings why not wait till its 100% done.
