    I don't agree with everyone saying we were poor... This was Everton's first game not being constrained by Rafaball, and you knew the dirty fooker Ferguson would have them playing extremely rough to try to get something from this game. This wasn't going to be a fixture as easy as it appeared on paper, but we had a significant number of chances in the first half and held up well defensively. Not every game is going to be a 7-2 destruction. Great win for us. MOTM: Buendia - Once again, best player on the pitch.

    It's very common in Central America. Nearly every American international game on the road results in their players getting pelted by bottles of urine, coins, lighters, and drinks when taking corners/celebrating a goal.

    Not really. Konsa isn't as good as a lot of Villa fans say he is, and Mings catches more flack than anyone on our team.

    Would not mind Tarkowski at all. He's a much better ball playing CB than you'd expect to find at Burnley. Huge upgrade on Tuanzebe and will challenge Konsa for the starting spot.

    TBH, I don't think it wasn't a case of Villa not being interested more so than he wasn't interested in coming to us at the time. He is the hottest prospect in South America and was wrapping up a phenomenal season for River when we were being linked to him. It was more the case of "come to Villa now, or possibly double/triple what Villa would offer in wages in another year".

    Suarez called Patrice Evra the N-Word, got an 8 match ban for it after video evidence was reviewed by the Premier League. Suarez continues to deny it, victimizes himself, and Liverpool players wore shirts supporting Suarez after he was given the suspension. His first game back playing against Man United, Suarez refuses to shake Evra's hand and continues to make himself out to be the victim.

    It's simple... In order to compete with the "bigger" teams, we need to generate more revenue, which means more fans worldwide. People have to want to watch us... Players like Coutinho and Suarez will do this. They're helping accelerate our profile in the football world and will attract better players to the club, along with Gerrard.

    What have I missed???? Fookin' Suarez??? I didn't like JT before he came to Villa, but I really hate Suarez. Just a scumbag of a human, but he's a hell of a player... Still a fantastic player who will score key goals for us, if this is true. He's also very good friends with Coutinho and might be worth coming to Villa just to get Coutinho to sign on a permanent deal this summer.

    I still don't see the obsession with buying a DM... Dougie is more than capable of being a DM of a Champions League club in the Prem. Need a better RB than Cash and a better CB than Konsa/Mings to up their game more so than a DM, IMO.

    We were the top headline of the footy section on every major sports website around the world yesterday... "Coutinho scores on his Aston Villa debut and inspires 2-2 comeback against Man U". When we've typically beaten the "big boys" in the past the narrative has always been about how off the opposition was that day, but today it was all about Coutinho. He's going to be our Robinho if he signs permanently for us this summer.

    I love Buendia... Gives everything he has for the shirt every game. He ran himself into the ground today. JJ - Horrible first half, but completely redeemed himself in the 2nd. Showed exactly why he should be in the team, but needs to put in the effort especially when things aren't going well for the team. Digne - Huge huge huge upgrade on Targett... His spacing on the pitch was instrumental in both goals. Will be a fan favorite soon. Coutinho is pure class... Can't wait for him to get up to full fitness and start. He completely changed the game when he came on. Assist and a goal in his first 10 minutes on the pitch. Lots to work on, but the second half shows our potential. UTV!!!

    Buendia coming off as a concussion sub... I'm going to guess it's because of his shoulder, but playing up the fact Matic hit him in the head on that challenge.

    I'd rather have a 36 year old Ashley Young at left forward than Watkins... Works hard, but does fook all with the ball once he gets it.
