    Wouldn't matter with these tactics.... Our CBs play long balls into the channels and our fullbacks play 1-2s with Coutinho until we lose possession.

    McGinn is a legend... He's one of my favorite all time Villans and is right up there with Mellberg, Laursen, & Milner for me. The disrespect he's gotten over the past year has been embarrassing by many on here. Statistically, he was our best player by a longshot... He's integral to our playstyle, especially with Kamara taking over the defensive duties and giving him license to roam forward next season.

    The issue we're running into is that nobody can pay standard Premier League wages outside of the Premier League except for the top top rich clubs (Bayern, PSG, Barca/Madrid/Athletico, & maybe a few Italian clubs). Players that aren't good enough for us won't have clubs lining up to pay them the same/more than we are plus pay us a fee on top of it. Unless we're bargain bin shopping on signings, the only clubs who will actually allow us to turn a profit on our players are the ones with more money than we do, and we're down to a dozen clubs in the world who fall into this category. Players also know the power they have too, where they are more than happy to be a bit part player and run down their contracts, picking up more money than they would anywhere else in the process. Ask yourself if you'd do your current job for x4-x5 the salary you'd get somewhere else, or would leave for significantly less money, just because you're bored. You'd be crazy to assume things are different for footballers.

    You're having a laugh if you think this is the case... Buendia has consistently been our best performer for the past 7 months and can't get into the starting 11 to save his life. No, Gerrard will put out the same team against Bournemouth and we'll lose that 1-0.

    This is why it's so frustrating... You can see after a preseason, Man United look like they're transformed into an organized and dangerous side with no new signings in this 11 they put out... We still look as lost and disjointed as we have been during the 2nd half of last season, even after two Champions League quality additions to the 1st team. Pathetic.

    I said Gerrard will be out by Christmas last weekend... Might be out by October by this point... Pathetic all around. Not counting all the big money signings, he hasn't improved us a bit from Smith.

    Not one comment on his performance against Brisbane? I thought he played well... Looked very comfortable going forward and looks very similar in style to Digne. Should be a huge upgrade on Ashley Young at LB.

    Sounds like his agent doesn't have other clients and views Carney's contract situation as his big meal ticket. The delusional wage demands, if true, could ruin this kid's career.
