  1. Exactly. If Leicester's board actually spent some money on defenders this summer, they wouldn't be bottom of the table right now. They still look dangerous going forward at times and create chances, but they can't defend worth a damn.
  2. MON - Moscow... Punting the UEFA cup by playing kids so your senior squad can focus on the league was a disaster. Our form fell of completely since then and his days were numbered. Houllier - Heart attack announcement. I liked Houllier and the direction he was taking us in, but knew instantly that he would no longer manage after his heart attack was announced. McLeish - The first protest at VP after his announcement. Was one of the worst decisions Randy Lerner ever made, and that's saying something. Lambert - There wasn't one moment in particular. Lambert's full reign as manager was like watching the club slowly circle the drain to relegation over the course of several years. Sherwood - The Leicester match where we blew a massive lead and lost the game. The squad never played for him after that. Garde - After the first performance. The players weren't playing for Sherwood and for sure weren't going to play for this clown. They made that clear after that first match. Di Matteo - TBH, I didn't watch much of us during his short spell. Relegation turned me off football for a bit. Bruce - You knew it was only a matter of time before Brucey got the sack after NSWE bought the club, but Whelan's penalty miss was the final nail in the coffin for him. Gerrard - West Ham away last season... We just beat Brighton, Southampton, & Leeds without conceding, while using a consistent 11 and a formation which seemed to be working. West Ham we pulled out a completely different formation again and got our teeth kicked in. That was the moment I knew he clearly had no idea what he was doing and his days were numbered here.
  3. At some point, Brighton will stop hitting on their replacements for their best players they sell off for a profit and their overachievement in the table will stop, kind of like what happened with Southampton. I think Potter is a solid coach, not as good as some make him out to be on here, but I wouldn't mind him. He's at least been successful everywhere he's been and played progressive football on a budget.
  4. On Leicester's subreddit there are some ITKs claiming that Rodgers has a ridiculous buyout clause in his contract, something like 10 million pounds. The conspiracy theory is that they aren't giving him funds to work with because they want him to resign or leave by negotiated rate instead of sacking him outright.
  5. Arsenal looked like players who know he is on the way out and are auditioning for the next manager. We'll see the same for Man City as well.
  6. Hilarious to see all the Arsenal fans on Reddit losing their minds over this saga... "I don't understand! He isn't starting, clearly wants out of Villa, and is on an expiring deal! Why isn't Villa accepting our dogshit offer for him!?!?!?!?! Who do they think they are?!?!?!?!?! I hope you lot get relegated for acting like a tin pot club and we'll just sign him for free next summer... Also, I've never watched him play and can't remember anything about him from the game 2 days ago... Is he any good and is he a 6 or an 8?"
  7. Didn't happen that way for Smith... We fooked about for two weeks doing interviews with gems like Fat Frank and Roberto Martinez for the entirety of an international break before mumblemouth Steve was announced.
  8. I'm happy with him... Very underrated player, IMO. He was fantastic under Nuno, but he hasn't found the same level since then, but he is a quality player. Likening this to the Chambers signing is a good shout.
  9. Honestly, the worst thing that could happen is that we shithouse a goal or score another fluke Dougie corner to win and that buys Gerrard another 3-4 games. I never want to see Villa lose but I'm kind of hoping for another Whelan penalty moment if they don't just sack him after Man City.
  10. I don't see Leicester winning today against ManUre or Brighton this Sunday... Which sets up next weekend to be the do or die game for both Gerrard & Rodgers. Whoever loses will get the sack.
  11. Does anyone know if we can loan Januzaj if we've already loaned in Bednarak? Someone? Anyone, please???
  12. Same... Even Fat Sam, Tony Pulis, and Sean Dyche had gameplans that worked well with the budgets/teams they had. Gerrard hasn't shown any sort of tactical nuance yet... We looked best when he came in after Smith and just moved us back to 433 after playing Deano's 5 at the back system for the 5 defeats. Since he's moved to this narrow 4312 bullshit we're getting worse and worse each week.
  13. Dendoncker was brilliant for Wolves under Nuno. Not writing the player off because I don't think anyone will be a success in Gerrards awful narrow setup. Could be useful when we finally axe Gerrard in a few weeks. Not happy about losing Dougie... He's a good player who wasn't anywhere near as bad as some made him out to be. He'll go on to be a regular for Arsenal and with thrive in Arteta's set up. I wish him luck. At least we made ~10 million pounds profit on him. First player we sold on for a profit since Westwood.
  14. Yeah, WTF happened? We went from being extremely prepared and organized when it comes to transfers to all of a sudden scrambling for deadline day cast offs. This isn't how we've operated at all since we returned to the Premier League... Something is going on behind the scenes. Maybe our spending was done and/or Gerrard was told we need to move on players before he could buy more. Now all of a sudden it's a mess on the pitch and we're in 19th, so more funds were released prior to exits and we're scrambling?
  15. He's not good in central positions... Much better out wide with only one man he needs to keep track of pressing him.
  16. Pathetic defending... Lazy backpass from Kamara, Tyrone getting outmuscled by a player half his size, then everyone standing around waiting for Emi to try to get the ball instead of clearing it. Lucky to not concede there.
  17. Doesn't matter these days... 10 years ago that isn't a yellow... That might be a red 10 years from now.
  18. Nevermind, upon seeing the replay Saka fell over with minimal force from Tyrone.
  19. Wow... I won't be surprised if that comes back and is a penalty...
  20. Why does Gerrard insist on playing so narrow? Insanity...
  21. lol... Can't wait to see Craig Butler's IG later tonight...
  22. Why? Because they've made one bad decision (Gerrard) in 4 years? Where were you the past 30 years?
