    I find it hard to believe that two players who were severely beaten up on this forum are now seen as saviours to our season,sad days indeed.

    And the alternative is?Do nothing and get relegated?No guarantee of coming right back up,and then reduce the budget even more.

    With respect to Lamberts sacking,were damned if we do and were damned if we dont,so its relegation and rebuild from the lower divisions.Lets hope its only one division lower.

    Weather we could have won it is irrelevant,a winning mentality might help keep us up though.Winning brings confidence and putting five past millwall might change their mentality!

    probably so,but the excitement generated for that one week in the summer was never their for me with regards to Lambert.

    Unfortunately for Lambert hes come to the Villa when relegation was always on the cards,and when we do get relegated i cant totally blame Lambert,but,losing to both Bradford and Millwall,thats inexscusable.

    Id love to go back through this thread and read what it was about Lambert that was going to bring change at the villa,but i cant be arsed.Ive never had any enthusiasm for the Lambert appointment,didnt dislike the move,but,it wasnt as exciting as a possible move for OGS. Anyway time for a new manager,after the transfer window closes of course.

    Not one player played a full 90 minutes no man of the match for me.Game was slipping away towards the end of the first half,and we had no idea what to do second half,so,lets just sit back and defend until they score.Christ!Did you see Vlaar crab across the six yard box to block the view of Guzan even more when they scored after halftime,if he had stood still it would have blocked half the goal off.

    Things coudnt be worse if he did try it.I was thinking of moving Bennett into a left midfield/winger role.Im not convinced about his defending but he seems to have good ball control going forward,id also like to see Carruthers get a game to.
