  1. This and the fact he’s given each player an opportunity to prove they’ve improved before leaving. Bar Guilbert and Nakamba they all featured in league games and had and started vs Stevenage which sends a better message to the rest of the squad than just bombing then out.
  2. I’d say it’s the opposite of dangerous . Freeing up wages and getting rid of the deadwood, something we have been very poor at in the past.
  3. Tomiyasu might be available given Arsenal have signed a new rb, but I don’t think it’s a priority for us in this window.
  4. I think it’s quite refreshing not raiding his former club, he built something great there and isn’t going to dismantle it.

    Jhon Durán

No he’ll be staying and training with the first team.

I imagine it’s colder in Chicago
  7. Definitely there’s a massive lack of effort about the team, Antonio Conte doesn’t become a bad manager overnight.
  8. They all want a join in on the free spending madness like Chelsea have, teams like Brentford , Fulham , Brighton us and even Wolves have them terrified. Whatever people may think of Levy he’s one of the best operators in football he runs the club sensibly. Liverpool fans are the same they bragged about being a well run club and their “net spend” when things were going right but now they can’t wait to get Saudi owners in.
  9. He’s averaged under a point per game during his time at Everton. But it’s the usual The board didn’t back the manager sop story. They spent £10m more than we did in the summer.
  10. Posted this a few weeks ago, a very mature performance for a 19 year old.
  11. QPR haven’t won in 6 matches, I think the wheels were starting to fall off with Beale , but Critchley looks hopeless.
  12. Wonder if anyone will worried about this leaving us short, like they were with Sanson?

    Unai Emery

I think it’s positive that we aren’t rushing in to sign players just for the sake of it, and looking for targets that will genuinely improve us, I think the fact that Emery actually owns a football club and has a general understanding of how things work helps.
  14. With Sanson here or not an injury to Doug or Kamara (more so Kamara) we’d be looking pretty poor.
  15. Based on what? I’m not a Sanson fan boy, I just genuinely haven’t seen enough of Sanson to draw a clear picture on what type of player he is.
  16. Payet I suppose? Different type of player though. Letting Guendouzi leave without a replacement will certainly put a dent in their title charge.
  17. It’s quite a large fee for them, I thought they would have wanted a replacement now to continue their challenge for the title.
