  1. The collegiate system is what really makes “our” professional sports different than other countries. We don’t have local professional teams because there’s no pro/rel system and that’s not gonna change because owners have invested and are reaping all the riches back(this goes for pretty much every major sport here). Most folks have college/universities athletic teams they support (from being an alum or just interest) plus a professional team.
  2. yeah, believe she was with Sky at some point but not sure. McHugh is on right now, he's mostly involved with NBC's hockey coverage
  3. pretty sure he's considered the "host" when he's on, like Liam McHugh & Rebecca Lowe
  4. Not surprised it’s those 2 of the 12 leaving first. Neither really is in need of the influx of cash because of their super wealthy owners.
  5. JP Morgan also got caught owning a ship that was found with over $1 billion worth of cocaine a year or two ago. think they really care?
  6. I always somehow seem to forget that the football club doesn't actually own the pitch (or their name actually)
  7. for me the thing that is going to be extremely unfair is that the players and managers will be the ones facing the brunt of the firestorm this caused. Up until the end of the season, all of the attention and interview questions will be asked at every opportunity
  8. just watched that Klopp interview and I don't think he is going to manage Liverpool in a Super League.
  9. starting to suspect we might not be able to replace El Ghazi in the summer now
  10. let's see if Klopp's position has changed about the super league. imagine he will get a bunch of questions about it
  11. I might follow the scores (like I have been doing) but I wouldn't be signing up for any streaming services nor setting foot in VP again.
  12. very valid points, but then what about these 6 clubs having the rest of their seasons being rendered meaningless? No incentives so surely all of their matches and the integrity of the completion will be under scrutiny
  13. no clue but as far as i know Delaney is decently reliable
  14. yep exactly the point and why it's been brought to the forefront at this time
  15. just have the MLS on and Miami have just scored. Questions about offside and they go to VAR. Rule is that they decide based on the picture whether Higuaín is offside or not... no bringing out the microscopic lines for offsides. to me that's absolutely brilliant
  16. the president of La Liga weighs in
