I think he would be a better (and cheaper alternative from Tammy). I don't see striker as a priority as well, but then I see that we're apparently going to spend 40m on bringing Tammy back.

I really think that Dike will be on our radar because and the American links with Wes will have us targeting an American. (I’m hopeful as an American too but it’s been partially our strategy I think to boost our “markets”)

The other thing that I really like is that with this one (and the Chrisene from Exeter) that the other club has stated we've been fair, professional, and not being 'cheap' when it comes to signing these kids for the academy. Helps us keep building relationships with other clubs academies and knowing that we will be good partner to sell to without trying to buy on the cheap. We're finally being run super professionally.

He's definitely not above criticism and there's definitely parts that I think are justified. BUT I'd much rather be in our position with him and our squad than say Everton who have spend a lot of money on average/subpar players and brought in a "world class" manager whom hasn't really significantly improved them because they need better players. (Yes, I'm still stuck on spending up to almost 40 million on Iwobi)

he's up for supporters POTS now on the OS. Don't think he'll win but absolutely deserves recognition. It feels like the first time in 10/15 years that starting LB isn't a priority to fix because the incumbent doesn't play like a braindead zombie.

Yeah I’m not disagreeing there’s going to be a time that we outgrow Dean but I find it hard to believe it would be this summer

Outside of the Manchester sides this year, every team in the PL is inconsistent for patches of the season. The league’s far too competitive for a fm/fifa type season from every team (especially for a non big 6 team) not to say that Dean’s above criticism, like after the game today but no team in any league has the right to not be inconsistent.

My main issue with Dean has been his subs (and lack thereof), and I think that might've showed today. But still have to remember he's only in his 2nd year in the PL.

I think we are going to be in for a bit of a defensive regression because Mings & Konsa including today have missed only 4 matches between them. Doubt that will be the same next year

don’t see the reasoning to drop 40 mil on a backup striker when we have glaring needs on the wing /attacking midfield plus we don’t really ever play with 2 strikers for more than 20 mins if at all.
