    Bournemouth have bought Romain Favire from Lyon for £15 mill and then loaned him back to Lorient. Bournemouth owned by Bill Foley who also owns a stake in Lorient. Favire is 24 not sure this is a development loan maybe they think Lorient could get champions league through prem funding? Hard to see what there upto.

    Yep people forget Mikel Damsgaard looked good at the Euros or world cup whatever one it was and has done zero at Brentford. I would say they both have similar stories aswell.

    Usually it's cause they want to pay installments over a long period( 6 years +) same as what Chelsea did with Nicolas Jackson.

    I'd take Maddison for £55mill over Mount for £60 mill tbh. Also think it's important to add the addons which in the Maddison deal are substantial and easily attainable.
