Think it boils down to Gabby's finishing on Sunday, the SHA defence won't be able to deal with him the same as a lot of better defences haven't managed to, if he takes 1 or 2 of the chances that come his way we'll come away with 3 points.
Saturday night, call it
Personally think it'll be going close to the distance with Calzaghe to stop him in the tenth
EDIT: Added poll for people who like that sorta thing
Rooney, no contest. Although would like to see in time England go 4-3-2-1 wth Ashton up front supported by Rooney and Lampard, something along the lines of
Carson
Richards Terry Rio Cole
Gerrard Hargreaves Barry
Lampard Rooney
Ashton
A Desperate McClaren looked at options as a surprise inclusion in his squad:
Rooney
or maybe Dyer
Look at Lee Bowyer offering support, wasn't quite so supportive when Dyer wouldn't give him the ball a couple of seasons back
Cheers blandy, an exceptional read as always and one I particularly identified with having watched England v Azerbijan in the top tier at St James Park a couple of years ago.
Can we not go down the better fan route Ian, all I'm asking for in the article is that those who are currently not feeling so good about things that have happened in recent weeks don't view them as merely black and white and see how they pan out before the end of the transfer window. I have attempted to put my opinion and reasoning as to why they have happened so as to reduce those shooting from the hip which often causes controversy and frustration and sometimes cards for users
I entitled the article an optimists view so that those who feel things aren't going the way they wish would read it so as to see and hopefully consider a contrasting viewpoint to their own.
