nope never done it...when I was a nipper though I did have coca cola wallpaper...got bored of it after 6 months now I jus have a white room with a canvas picture of bob dylan, a picture of the 1982 team lifting the cup, a picture of the beatles with mohamad ali and a framed collectors edition of a hard days night (the kind that aint work shit) gotta get some decent stuff in there but I have just moved rooms so I just raided my old bedroom from me mom n dads for stuff I could hang up to cover all the **** nails that were sticking out of the walls from the previous occupant the canvas picture of bob dylan and the 82 team are staying though

I'm back on the trying to quit smoking game again Feeling pretty good about it now, havent had so much as a drag since 7 o'clock sunday evening Everything is going in my favour at the moment though 1-I just really fancy quitting smoking, I dont really enjoy it that much any more 2-I need to save a fair whack of money over the next few months 3-By saving money I wont be going to the pub which will cut that massive temptation out for me 4-my flatmate has moved out which made it nearly impossible for me to quit whilst he was there before, he had a 2 month holiday to Vietnam back in september and I went 7 weeks without barely smoking at all, the day he came back he offered me a smoke and I was back on it again. Ive had a couple of half arsed attempts at quiting since then but never really gave it a real go (I would steal the off fag off someone at break time at work and within a few days I was back on it) I'm not to big to admit that I need the patches as well, I think its more of a mental thing, whilst I have a patch on its kind of a reminder not to smoke. Finding it pretty easy at the minute though, its not difficult at all yet I am constantly aware that I am quitting if you get me, any ways just thought I would share that with you all

I'll back this up, they have the super karts or some shizzle like that which can hit up to 80mph if you are a super kart driver or some shizzle like that any way it was a few years ago that I went and we were all in the fastest karts it was a real good laugh and you get a fair few hours, pretty expensive though I think

my mates missus tried to set me up with one of her mates, she said that she had told her all about me and shown her pictures of me etc etc and she was really keen, she showed me a picture of her and she was pretty **** nice. I didnt bother texting her though, I agree with you ingram its **** difficult trying to start something via text, if she would have said 'yeah she really wants to meet you and was wondering what you were doing next friday'' then I would have been all over it but through txt seems like far too much guess work to me. plus I dont like the thought of hooking up with someone that a mate has engineered...If sommet goes wrong and she things your shit in bed or you couldnt get it up you just know that there is no way to stop your mates from finding out lol

Just before I go any further may I just say a big **** you, it is not a crock of geek shit it's a crock of geek gold :-) Which brings me onto my next point. I am getting a bit pissed off with people (especially birds) banging on about how excited they are to be going to see the avengers, one of the days last week there was 4 birds from work going to see it together and they were banging on about how excited they were etc etc, when I asked them what they thought of the other films (iron man 1-2, cap America, Thor, hulk) they looked at me like I was a freak and didn't even realise that the same actors were playing them Just kind of annoyed me that Some people have waited for years for the film to he made and all of a sudden mentioning iron man or the hulk no longer refers to the comics but only to "the film" Sounds like a pissy rant I know but it feels like a bit of my geekiness has been taken away from me when I actually quite enjoyed it, dunno if that makes sense or not :winkold: :winkold:

What, like a cortisone injection? Yeah I've got pretty bad arthritis and impingement syndrome in me right hip so they just wanna see if it reacts directly to the cortisone or not. Sounds like that's all they can do for me cuz of me age (27) but I'm a bit pissed about it cuz an injection is only gunna be temporary relief (if it works)

I gotta go hospital later, I'm nill by mouth as of 7am this morning. Why is it that as soon as you are told you are not aloud to eat anything all I can think about is bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding and toast I can't even have a cup of tea, mite not be able to have anything until 7 o'clock tonight Oh yeah it says on me letter that I can't drink for 24 hours after the anethsthetic but it's Friday so is it worth following all that sort of shite or will I be ok to have a few cans tonight?

The whole chisora/haye thing is purely showing boxing in the wrong light, I am not saying that mayweather has a get out of jail card but what he done happened away from the ring. One of the things I have always loved about boxing is that two people who "hate" each other before a fight will hug afterwards and give each other the upmost respect the whole chisora/haye thing just smacks of a grudge fight straight out of WWE. If you pay someone to punch someone else in the fight you will always end up with people who can't keep their aggression inside of the ring but them pair embarrassed themselves in my opinion

Ok just watched that clip... I know why watching idiots is appealing I used to watch shit like x-factor, pop idol and BGT all the time just for idiots like that but they are just...well idiots, the novelty of watching idiots has well and truly worn off for me, if I wanna see someone making an absolute prick of themselves I just look out of my window onto Erdington highstreet and trust me I see bigger freaks than that when the freaks start poring out of the hairy lemon at closin time every night

Thought that I would pull this thread back up. I didn't intend to but I am doing exactly the same thing now that I was in the opening post, sitting down in the dark having a few cans playing my guitar and listening to music, not something I planned, I just thought "yeah I'll have a can" and that has turned into a nice peaceful session I uqve decided there is nothing wrong with it
