Just on the bus goin home after watching it. I can't do the spoilers from my phone so all I will say is that I quite enjoyed the film but why oh why oh why did they do it in 3D??? The whole film was shot in 3D but they didn't actually use it apart from when all the blue words were floating about on the screen. I went to the IMAX to watch it so didn't have the choice of 2D and for as great as the screen is at IMAX it's the most uncomfortable cinema in Birmingham, next time I will sacrifice the big screen for a comfortable 2D showing -

I havent read anything in this topic for a while now and havent actually looked at any of the posts on this page just in case there are some spoilers that havent been hidden cant wait I'm gunna be in the IMAX at four to watch it hope its good -
this is soul destroying man, I am literally the only person working in the office at the minute first time in my life I have ever worked a saturday and its **** orrible. I'm only doing it because next month I am getting raped by bills and have to pay out £1400 so I desperately need the overtime plus I have the stone roses gig which will skint me out even more

any idea on what the Neil young one is supposed to sound like? I'll have to have a listen to Joe walsh's album he is off his rocker but he's great...actually I mite have to stick on 'lifes been good' now, hmmm that would mean switching jimmy the Hendrix off though

I have just recorded myself playing the guitar and noticed two things 1-the guitar was actually pretty decent (my voice is shocking but I already knew that) 2-I actually speak to myself quite a bit, a few times I actually answered myself as well. Things like "you just **** up then" "I know but I'll do it next time no problem" "ah wel stop **** about and do it then" Never realised I did that, is that normal???

That my friend is exactly what has happened to me I got the alien box set then shortly after I got lethal weapon, die hard and x-men along with other random blu rays I am tempted to start my horror collection on blu ray but I know that's a complete waste of time cuz I have them on DVD already but I just kind of want them anyway

Just sitting outside on the roof chilling out witha couple of bottles of beer, I **** hate this weather but dont have much choice but to sit in it for a bit cuz I had me head shaved on Saturday and I look like uncle fester so I gotta get some colour on it lol

Anyone got any idea why you can't get any of the marvel films of bluray in HMV? I hadto get them on DVD for someone and thought I would take a look and see how much the bluray was but couldnt see any of them any where

I can see this thread getting a load of negative comments lol People seem to either like the cricket or **** hate it with a passion. I think I'm quite a rare breed of person who quite enjoys it as long as it's a big match/tournament but even then I don't get excited or go out of my way to watch it, used to follow it quite a bit when I was younger and more enthusiastic about sports in general

I'm going to see it in 3d but that's only cuz I'm going IMAX, done the same with the avengers went to see it 3d IMAX then saw it at the showcase in 2d and enjoyed it a lot more...though that could have been because of the bird I went with and because I wasn't nursing a stonking hangover. Anyway can't wait for it going on Saturday at 4 o'clock -
I despise facebook only time I have ever used it is when my flatmate had a 2 month holiday in vietnam and that was just in case there was a small emergancy that I needed to speak with him about within minutes of re-activating my old account (which has been dormant since 2010) I had 4 friend requests - 1 message on my wall - and 2 text messages from people asking if ''I had re-activated facebook'' I removed every friend I had on there apart from me flatmate. All I have ever seen facebook do is cause trouble and for some strange reason take over peoples lives

brum symphony hall is an brilliant venue, I went there in october to see steve earle, the sound was quality in there second best gig (for sound quality) that I have been to, the first being spiritualized at the sage

in all fairness I used to post regularly on H&V but found that the members on that forum were....well the majority of them were idiots I didnt scream or cry or complain I just logged out and never logged back in, I would do the same thing with this site if it started pissing me off

oh yeah I should probably mention what I'm doing myself 1-saturday night 2-premier inn broadway around 5 miles away £88 between the two of us 3-not too sure what time I'll be getting there, probably at the start any way 4-same as you ulster villa, get to the hotel drop bags off hit a pub...any recomendations would be appreciated

I know there is a concert/gig thread on here but I thought that because there are quite a few people off this forum that are going it may deserve its own thread 1-What night are you going to 2-where are you staying (did you get raped for the hotel/B&B like most people who left it longer than 1 hour to book them) 3-what time are you looking at getting to the gig 4-what are your plans for the day, are you going to any pubs before or are you just landing straight in the gig. there is just over a month till the gigs kick off and I am on a massive roses kick again after booking our train tickest for it
