Just read on Facebook that legendary defender Ken McNaught of the 1982 European Cup winning side, is waiting to undergo a major heart transplant. His operation was cancelled today and he's having to wait a bit longer for it. Speedy recovery Ken, could do with someone like you in the side today.

You vent your anger though and other fans tell you to stop swearing, stop being an idiot and so on and so on......... Swearing isn't big and clever but anyone who has an angry rant without swearing must be a pre-programmed robot without a soul.

Er, I think there is. My exact comment (in anger remember) was that I hope Lerner met a similar fate to Matthew Harding..... Lerner's a word removed but my post was crass and over the top.

We do nothing because if you show the slightest bit of anger or frustration, other fans criticise you for it. Okay, some of us have gone too far in our comments on certain individuals admittedly, but there's a distinct lack of passion and fire from several fans never mind the team.....

I'm hoping now that Barnsley can make the League One playoffs (currently about six points adrift) and go up. Oakwell is down the hill from me, a ten minute walk, might be in with a shout of who's ever travelled the shortest distance to an away game.

Who else is worried that we'll go into freefall now and end up in League One, or worse, eventually? A Leeds scenario. I hope we get back out of the Championship at first attempt but it's a tough league and if the players show the lack of fight they've been showing then more relegation looms...

I want to apologise to anyone reading this thread from the Yorkshire Villa Supporter's group page on Facebook for my comment wishing death upon Randy Lerner and my subsequent telling someone that disagreed with me to eff off. It was crass and wrong and whilst I have some mental health issues caused by head injuries once received, it is no excuse for my nasty post. Whatever you think of Lerner, wanting him dead is wrong and once again I'm sorry, he's someone's son and dad. I'm not a moron like that guy screaming and shouting at the team bus the other week, it was a heat of the moment thing and I was actually sat here crying like a baby while posting. A grown man crying, that's how bad it's became...

I keep hearing the comment "we're full". I don't know if we are or not, BUT: An idea that came to my mind is to temporarily suspend all non-essential immigration for a while in order to accept more people from war-torn countries who NEED to come over. Where I live there are a lot of people from Eastern Europe. Latvians, Lithuanians, Poles and Romanians. Now, they're welcome of course they are, but maybe put a block on them coming over for while as last time I checked Poland, Latvia et al weren't a living hell on Earth. I hope people can see where I'm coming from on this, I'm not against ANYONE coming over per se but if there is a lack of space then we need to put those people from Syria, Somalia etc first.

19 year old lad gets pissed on holiday. Total overreaction from the media as usual. As for the role model thing, well name me a lad who gets to about 16/17 (younger in some cases) and DOESN'T want to get pissed?.......... If I was that age again (I wish haha) and my favourite player sat at home drinking cups of tea and eating digestives, would I want to behave too? Hell no, I'd be down the offy for six litres of strong cider for £1.99........ And I'm a 46 year old bloke with a family and a nice place to live etc nowadays.
