I don't think you can't actually book tickets online until they are on sale to all STH's. I guess they can't set the privileges based on previous aways, just whether you're a STH or not. A bit shit really. The online site has improved but it's still a big let down on some things as in this case.

Ticket allocation now showing as 2,900 on the online ticket site (although not the ticket page on OS), so that suggests we have taken the upper tier as well. Still debating whether to go to this. Can't really afford it but...

I made it to Hinckley for the first time last night. Result extremely harsh on the Villa boys. Hit the post, had a couple of 1 on 1 situations and 2/3 pen appeals turned down, plus numerous long range hits not far from target. Was really impressed with Jordan Graham in the 1st half and couldn't believe he was taken off at half time. But then I realised he's probably playing in the Youth Cup tomorrow night? Gary Gardner is going to be a player, although I guess a lot of people already know that. Forrester was busy and unlucky to hit the post but looked dangerous throughout.

Mat Kendrick (from the Mail) said on Twitter half an hour ago that 1,781 out of over 5,000 allocation sold so far. This obviously differs from what others have said. 1,781 is rather specific so suggests he's spoken to someone at the club. Although as far as I know the allocation is only 4,000 at the moment. I'm never sure about our away support. For this game I'm not surprised with it being midweek and on terrestrial TV but then I wasn't expecting us to take nearly 5k to Sheff United in the 3rd round! One thing you can be sure of is however many are there, there will be a good atmosphere.

There are car parks around the ground charging a few quid. Last season we parked in one fairly close. I'll be driving as well but will be on my own this time. With regards to colours, you should be ok. Although if we lose expect to get verbal from cocky, arrogant mancs. We did last year. Not sure what's worse, cocky mancs or cocky cockney's! On the other hand we did find reasonable Citeh fans before the game to have a chat to.

They are on general sale now so you shouldn't have a problem.

You would have thought so, but best speak to the ticket office. I got mine this morning. Not been able to convince anybody else to come with it being midweek and on the box, due to work commitments etc. Really not sure how many we will take. I maybe working in Stoke during the day so will be pretty much halfway there already. Been 4 times and we've lost the lot. 5th time lucky!

I'm glad he's chosen Ireland and I'm English! He's more likely to play regularly and get all the experience that comes with that. He also will be picked on form rather than the team he plays for, or who the media want picked.

This ban for accumulation of yellows only applies for cards picked up by second sunday in April. 15 yellows = banned immediately for 3 games. This ban for accumulation of yellows applies all season. Red Card = banned immediately, usually for 1 game although it can be 2 games (using offensive or insulting or abusive language/gestures) or 3 games (Violent Conduct, Serious Foul Play or spitting at an opponent or any other person). All these bans are increased by 1 further game if it is a second red within one season, or by two extra games if it is a third red etc. Sent off for 2 yellows = a red card and you are banned accordingly. These yellows do NOT count for accumulation of yellows purposes.
