I'm amazed that some appear to be writing him off - he's only just turned 20! Of course he's not a Rooney, Fowler, Owen etc. I wouldn't read too much into his lack of goals at Burnley either. Ask Watford and Sheff Wed fans what they thought of Gabby after his loan spells there and whether they thought he would make it in the Premier League! I also don't see this perceived lack of application/right attitude whenever I've seen him play. It seems that this is used as a criticism against any youngster who isn't setting the world alight straight away. And then you get the token reference to the Moore brother's. Are you on the official travel? They often stop at services on the way so you would normally need to take time for that into account. However, the last few London games I've been to they haven't stopped due to the Met Police wanting coaches there by a certain time. The coaches drive past The Central before dropping off a bit further down the road by the ground (they don't park inside the ground itself), so it's just a case of walking back in the direction you came from for a few mins. I remember on 'Mellberg Day', as we drove past, The Central was already heaving with Villa fans and they were all cheering and singing at us!

The West Mids Police - Force Football Unit have just said the following on twitter: All 3 are on the road that leads to Upton Park. The Central is closest to the ground, then The Denmark Arms, then The Millers Well.

I know this is off topic but why the hell do Norwich see Wolves as their second main rival according to that census? There must be history there... EDIT: I should have googled it and kept is off this thread but here is the answer if anyone is interested: There’s history since Kevin Muscat’s shocking tackle on Craig Bellamy in 1998 broke his leg. It turned into a bit of a free-for-all, with Muscat the main target. Then the play-off games escalated it. Molineux is one of those nasty places that no one likes to visit.

Yeehaa! Got one just a few mins ago. It was Sold Out when I called on Monday but they did say to keep trying today as it was the last day people could return for refunds. I've called several times today and missed one by 5 mins earlier on but just got 1 now.

I think that was Newcastle when they first came up. Unless Coventry did it some other time as well... My earliest memory of Coventry was in the 89-90 season, which was the first season I was old enough to figure out what was going on. I've since watched the season review video several hundred times and the name Kevin Drinkell always sticks in my mind. He scored when they beat us 2 - 0 at their place but it's the name that I remember. Micky Quinn (the original fat bastard) might have scored the other I think. OT, but also that season and from that video I learnt for the first time what a 'screamer' was. Glenn Cockerill scored for Southampton against us at The Dell, his shot was right in the top corner and the ball rattled around in the stantion of bar and post. Always remember the commentator screaming "OH WHAT A SCREAMER!". I remember quite a few games at VP against Coventry but have always been amused by how much they hate us, I really am indifferent to them. Having said that I never went to Highfield Road. I remember them being proper vexed when we signed Dublin off them. Also remember them beating us 4 - 1 at VP for the first time in 60+ years. Boateng scored twice for them so we went and bought him! And of course will always remember relegating them, the day that JPA scored his first goal for the Villa. We were in the Trinity middle, right above where the away fans were at that point in lower North. They were obviously giving it the big one being 2 - 0 up at HT and thinking they were staying up. What a 2nd half...
