    General, I know it's been talked about on here before, but Ian posted in another thread that a North Stand steward has said away fans are going to be moved into the upper and lower of Witton Lane. Can you confirm? Cheers

    I've given up trying to get food / drink at half time in the Upper Witton as things are so damn tight in the concourse, you can't move when there's a bigish crowd at the game. Now I just send my Dad

    Yeah but Arsenal are starting from fresh, it's a new ground that doesn't have years of history associated with it. As others have said I wouldn't be against the North Stand being renamed if it brought in some extra cash, but I don't want to see the whole ground renamed.

    SSN have just had a financial analyst on who was saying he thinks Ellis is closer to selling than ever. He says that Deadly is one of the great poker players of english football...... He also said on paper we could be one of the great franchises in european football. Reckons it will take the mid 50 millions to buy the club but thinks Lerner will go into the 60's if needed. Thinks we will be taken over before the start of the season.

    Talks are at due diligence stage, i.e. going through financial accounts. Michael Neville can't see that anything will hold up the deal and should be done by new year. Ellis is said to have been "most charming and helpful" throughout negotiations. Neville says Champions League is a realistic possibility within 3 years. He must be planning on spending a bit!
