I very much doubt Rodrigo would be going to Leeds without Bielsa being manager. It’s interesting the lure a big name has and maybe Smith’s name and reputation is somewhat of a hinderance to some foreign players who would have never heard of him... Not using it as criticism or as Smith Out stick just an observation...

Marseille have a lot of interesting players and being up shit creek financially let’s take advantage... Anyone of the following please would be nice. Djule Caleta-car, Boubacar Kamara, Morgan Sanson, Valentin Rongier, Maxine Lopez... All would improve quality immensely and now should be easily obtainable at a good price.

Hopefully we go for Karol Linetty from Sampdoria ... We need competition for McGinn and quality improved across the squad. A midfield of McKennie, Luiz, Linetty, McGinn would be a huge improvement.

I read it that he wouldn't move to England just just for the sake of it, and he would need Convincing it is right move for him and isn’t itching to leave at the first opportunity. Either way I hope it’s true.

Very good shout and that’s why I don’t believe the lazy links to players like a Wilson who would be in a similar price bracket as Stengs yet nowhere near as much potential.

Konsa is more experienced than Mings and Axel when it comes to first team football. He has comparable, stats and ratings to the overly vaunted Axel as well, so NO issues with him whatsoever. I still think we need another experienced CB ( not Necessarily prem experience ) without knowing the ins and outs with Engels his drop in form was alarming !

Personally think Wilson is a lazy and easy link... Whats the point in appointing a foreign data analyst specialist as sporting director if we cannot find better value for £20 mill? Also going off signing anyone from Brentford other than Rico Henry. Edouard has a higher ceiling in terms of potential for me and can see him getting close to the France squad of his current trajectory of development continues - Just cannot see Watkins knocking on the door for England ( though may be wrong ...) Buendia has proven he can perform in the premier league and is somewhat less of a gamble.

Our midfield was badly unbalanced on occasions last season and that’s why for me the signing of someone like McKennie is vital. A midfield trio of Luiz, McGinn & McKennie, with jack and Buendia on the wings supporting Edouard. Then with additional width support from the FB’s ( ??? & Aaron’s)... That for me is a lot more solid and offers flexibility in matches, is realistic leaving a bit in the pot from sales for Gk and ?
