Matthew Sorinola and Omar Richards are two young EFL LB we should be targeting IMO as long term replacements for Taylor and competition for Targett. Richards has been linked with Bayern as he is out of contract in the summer. Sorinola has broken into the first team for MK Dons this season and preformed very well so far.

I see Watkins as a wide forward who can work the wings and channels. I see Costa as Central forward in and around the box hence why I said best CF... He is better than Wesley as things stand now and then there’s Davis, ah well bless him and enough said. Not shouting for his signing whatsoever, but can see the logic. We have invested heavily in the youth setup and need a pathway to the first team or what’s the point ? Kessler is very highly rated and need to be integrated into the 1st team squad next season if not sooner.

Add into the mix Kaine Kessler and it is a position we shouldn’t need to look at for a few seasons hopefully. Left back cover is paramount.

For me. His lack of developmental game time when he was younger will always be a hinderance to him reaching his full potential. Sadly we will just have to accept his faults and lapses are part of his game. At 27 - 5 years older than konsa he has played the same amount of career games - around 150 each. Vital experience missed to iron out the kinks in his game.

You’ve got Harry Souttar & Nathan Collins at Stoke. Possibly Max Bird, Lee Buchanan and krystian Bielik at Derby. Han-Noah Massengo at Bristol City, Michael Olise at Reading, Tom Bayliss at Preston was a good prospect when he was at Coventry - not sure how he has done since? ...All fit the mould and I’m sure there are countless others @Villan4Life will be able to fill us in on I’m sure...That’s also not considering any players from the relegated clubs from last season young prospects (Aaron’s, Lloyd Kelly, Brooks, etc) To add to the championship youngsters we should also be looking at the sky 6 squads for youngsters on the periphery. Players like Reiss Nelson, Yasser Larouci with little to no game time. Will Taylor Harwood - Bellis ever see Citehs 1st XI? Then you have Ethan Ampadu, Connor Gallagher & Faustino Anjorin at Chelsea - I doubt they will all make the 1st team squad long term. Then you move abroad and you have have; Johnathan Panzo, Marcus Edwards, and Max Clark +others ... In Scotland you have Turnbull, Haggi, Lewis Ferguson + (Edouard & Ajer) etc... The list goes on & on. I’d love to take a peek into our data room !
