  1. Might? You said exactly the same last year. You WILL buy it. Although its easy to say the series will go down the pan now the original IW staff have left, who know's what the new ones, aswell as the other two studio's Activision have got working on it can do? I'm not even going to bother saying i'm not going to buy into all the usual hype because I will, it's a definite purchase for me, fingers crossed they produce something good. Nothing comes close as far as multiplayer is concerned. Killzone 3 is the best fps single player i've played, COD nails the multiplayer. Although Battlefield is good, you can't really run and gun, it relies a lot more on team work and it's a bit slower in terms of pace. The new Battlefield does look good though.
  2. Does it suprise you though, because it doesnt me. Everything is always a slow and drawn out affair with us, whether it be the kit, or transfer of players. If the board do what they should do, and sack GED and co, that gives them a bit of time to get a new manager in, and the new manager will then get some money, and a full summer to spend it, and an entire pre-season with the players. Sometimes it leads me to question whether the board know what they're doing, we've not got many football people at the club, and you've got someone like Paul Faulkner, how is he qualified to have a say in who our next manager is. Anyway, the board need to be decisive, and move quick. Go and get Moyes!
  3. agreed, he just doesn't have the quality or football brain that young has i think He's been better than Ashley Young this season. Who cares anyway, Ethan Moore is much better than both of them, he's superb and amazing for his age. He'd be on the fringes of the first team had we not stupidly let him go. We should sign him back up in the summer. you just can't help yourself, can you? it's really childish So is constantly posting bollocks.
  4. He'd be a brilliant manager for us, but next stop for him is England.

  6. The new maps are really good, especially the hotel with the lifts. Stick a claymore in the lift, send it down, and you end up taking out an enemy waiting at the lifts downstairs trying to get up. HA!
  7. such as? Carroll, Welbeck, Sturridge, Wickham should be the ones making it through to the final squad. Fonz has done nowhere near enough to make the final squad. wickham is nowhere near delfouneso's level, he is vastly overrated Agree with you on this one Gaz, he is not superb, and he is definitely not amazing for his age like Delfounso.
  8. The new maps are good, probably the best four on the game now. Didn't like what I played of the new zombie one though. This will get me back on Black Ops for a few weeks now having gone back to Modern Warfare 2, which is still a quality game if you can get into a decent lobby.
  9. ...on the fringes of first team and trains with them consistently So, like Isiah Osbourne was then? This bloke is going to be **** brilliant! he is 16 and still at school, he is amazing for his age He's superb.
  10. Ha! Yea, it would be nice. Wasnt the delay down to us taking so long to nail down a new club sponsor?
  11. I'd like Nike to use the same design for our kit as they have for Inter's new away shirt. Man City have a similar kit for this year, their third strip, and I think the US national team use a similar one.
  12. Do you ever take a day off? if you don't like my posts, don't reply So if he was still with us, he'd be on the fringes of the first team? If he's that good, why's he not playing for a Championship club or even a lesser Premiership team? You know why, because he's crap, which is why he can't even hold down a regular place in a League Two Cheltenham side. If he is really as SUPERB as you seem to think, we wouldnt have let him go. I trust the judgement of the people that run our youth set up more than you. So do us all a favour, and stop going on about him like he's the next Messi.
  13. I never bother, just stuck to the main story, jobs for strangers, and other jobs like bounty hunting.
  14. I restarted this recently, nearly done now though, it's not very often I replay games, but this one is worth a replay. mykeyb, stick with it, it's slow to start, all the mission you do at the start for the McFarlane's are just showing you the ropes, things will get more interesting when you meet West Dickins etc.
  15. I've noticed a player Newcastle signed on my most recent game called Kevin Gameiro from FC Lorient for 8.25, French. Although not cheap, he's scoring a lot of goals for them, and his stats are good, loads of pace and a good finisher. You might already know of him, but thought i'd mention him if anyone is after a striker.
  16. He just said Rihanna was the fittest in the world.
  17. They made a massive mistake driving out most of the original Infinity Ward staff that produced the games that made the series what it is. Hopefully the staff that left will have something new to show soon. I think this is a good game, but still prefer MW2. It's a shame that game wasnt better supported with patchesand more map packs, because you'd still have loads playing it. Instead of churning a game out every year, why not just have one developer (should have been IW), making one game every two/three years, whilst supporting the previous game whilst the other is being developed? I know, money. But it would be better. I bought a pre-owned copy of MW2 the other day and went online, still a good game, but overrun with quick scoping pricks, you know, the ones with names like xX SnIpZz Xx, ii xX NeoN SnipeR HD Xx ii etc etc. Looks like the Call of Duty has got some serious competition this year aswell with the new Battlefield also coming out in November and looking good. New map pack announced for this today, out start of May.
  18. I know, i'd love it if we did **** Houllier off and bring in Hughes, but I can't see the board biting the bullet and getting rid of Houllier despite the fact he's been absolute shit.
  19. I'm right at the end of the single player now, but i don't know whether i can be bothered to finish it off, it's all got a bit boring now. Some of theceph you fight towards the end are like bullet sponges and take ages to take down, and i'm not talking about the heavies either, just the normal ones. I've come across lots of AI bugs aswell, soldiers moon walking, getting stuck on things etc. Killzone 3 is better than this for me.
  20. Probably because you'll more than likely end up in a fight, and it's not worth it. This isnt no posh train station either (which is what it is probably like in comparison to my bus stop), its a bus stop in the middle of city centre where a bus that goes through some of the biggest shitholes in Birmingham happens to stop.
  21. What queue system? Try queying for a bus in Birmingham city centre and tell me there is such a thing. If you queue, you're a mug, as you end up getting on the bus after the words removed that arrive last and just push to the front.
  22. I'm playing the single player at the moment and was really enjoying it until I had to start fighting the Seph more. I preferred when it was just the CELL soldiers. Don't know how far through i'am, but i've just been washed up by a flood and i'm now working with old squad members from the start of the campaign on the sub.
  23. Toejam and earl! Mines a very recent game, not one of these old skool classics - Killzone 3
