it's a rental, tops, and thats for the single player, which is quite good, but the multiplayer is no different to whats gone before, and the maps in this are rubbish.

i've given up with the multiplayer already, some of the maps are just too small, you break cover, you're dead, rinse and repeat. i want to like it, but can't, even black ops multiplayer was better than this, despite being dogged by connection problems. glad i never paid another £40 for elite aswell. this game is a big let down as far as the multiplayer is concerned.

completed the single player, and it was good, better than i thought. however, i've struggled with the multiplayer, bigtime, just seems like a big ****, every time i move from cover, i get shot in the back, you don't seem to be able to take a corner without running head first into someone. i've come across quite a few campers aswell, which is inevitable, do not understanding how people get enjoyment from playing like that. i'm going to stick with it for a bit longer, but i'll be heading back to battlefield 3 at this rate, and i didnt think i'd be saying that a few weeks ago.

HMV are doing a deal where if you trade in one of four select titles, you can get this for £9.99. I know one of the titles is the new Batman, not sure on the other 3, but i'll be going for that later when i get my copy. Edit - this is it £9.99 with trade-in of Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3 or GoldenEye 007 Reloaded.

Why don't you just go and join the already huge queue of people waiting to dive on this and rip it to pieces, it seems to be quite fashionable to hate call of duty these days. as someone said to me in the battlefield 3 thread earlier this week when i pissing and moaning about the tac light, all shooters online are cheap in one of another, deal with it or or stop playing.

Where did i say you was a Battlefield fanboi, MATE? I've been in the Battlefield 3 thread and gather you like that game, seeing as you post 'i **** love this game' every 3 pages, thats all. i never called you a fanboi.

Then put it down, and go back to Battlefield 3 if you don't like it, and prefer people running around with tac flashlights attached to their guns, because thats not cheap.

i've seen a lot saying this is more like mw 2.5, rather than 3, which is good as far as i'm concerned, mw2 was and still is, the best of the series so far.

Roll on Tuesday, i'm getting tired of Battlefield 3 now.

Green is a squad mate, blue is a team mate, orange is enemy Drop ammo/medi packs in areas where there is a lot of traffic, you'll pick up a lot of extra points, people will call if they need it, or you can see their health bar above their head, although you get a lot of people that don't bother, so you're dry on ammo, you request some, but it falls on deaf ears. You'll get a defib eventually aswell, allows you to revive dead team mates, little electric shock/skull appears above their body, you get 100 pts for reviving, same as a kill. I don't talk on it either, i've not found a lot that do have their headsets, but its still fine. Can be annoying be when you get people that are not interested in playing the objective though, you get right up next to an mcom station, heavily guarded, so you wait for squad mates to spawn on you, but when they do, they **** off in the other direction!

Just don't use the flashlight if you don't life it. Personally I always use a pistol with it. :? It's more than idiots that do use it, all it does is blind you, cheap way of getting a kill. That's the idea of it.. It's ****' annoying when you get some plum on caspian border in broad daylight aiming one of them at you, as you're as good as dead because you can't see anything, think it's really cheap. There is cheapness in all shooters. SOS in Gears, certain set-ups in COD etc... You are right though, part of its puposes is to blind, i thought it was just to see if the dark :oops: SORRY

Although i'm not having trouble finding servers, games are just lagging all the time. Tactical flashlight. Pointless. Get rid of it. Other than that, good game, having more success attacking than defending.

Can't connect to games via quick match, have to search for available games via the server browser, plenty show up then.

I'll buy a standard copy, and buy the map packs as and when they're released, thats all i'm interested in. If they were planning on releasing new maps every month, then i'd do it, but new maps will probably be released every 2/3 months, and they'll fill the months between with new spec ops mission, new weapons etc, that i'm not too fussed about.

Why do you want a replay of you camping in a bus?
