The money generated from the Young/Downing deals may well turn out to a good thing, as it'll allow us to rebuild the midfield, aswell as strengthen other areas.

Thats a bit over the top. What did you expext anyway, there is no loyalty in football. He said he wanted to stay, bigger club has since come in, so he's moved on, can't really argue with that, and we've got good money for him. He was one of only a few that did well last year, stood up when we needed him most, which can't be said for some of the other senior players.

So they're similar because they play in similar areas of the pitch. Except Elano and Downing don't really, one is a winger the other more central. And Robinho and Bent don't either really, because they're about as different as chalk and cheese. Sorry, but in what way? Obviously Ireland is Ireland, but who is Elano and who is Robinho? I'd say it was pretty obvious, but you're obviously trying to be clever. Bent is a forward, as is Robinho. Elano is a midfielder, so is Downing. Yeah? Don't see it. None of those players are similar in any way shape or form, except Stephen Ireland. Well they are, because Bent is a forward and so is Robinho, although different types of forward. And Downing and Elano are midfielders, Downing wide, Elano in the middle.

If Lerner thinks he’s the man for the job, then I’ll back him. It’s a big risk, because it goes wrong and we have a poor season, it’ll undo all the good work he’s done since he joined, and he’s done a lot of good things for this club. Really can’t understand some of the shit he’s having thrown at him. I feel a bit sorry for AM, he’s taken a lot of stick, but he must really want the job as he's not walking away. He seem like a good guy when you seen him interviewed. I don’t know why some are getting so hung up on the fact he’s coming from Blues aswell. He’s not a Blues fan, so to him, it was just a job. Who cares where he’s coming from, if a managers good enough, it doesn’t matter. And who knows what he could do with a bit of backing, which Lerner will no doubt give him, he might do alright, but I think he at least deserves a chance. He’ll have money, a chairman that will back him as he’s the one that’s made the risky call to appoint him and a good squad to work with from day one. Who knows, he might even be able to persuade Ben Foster, Scott Dann or Roger Johnson to make the move with him.

I have never said MW2 is a bad game. It's just not as good as Black Ops. I have no idea what black Ops shorts are either and like I said I couldn't care less who makes the game . I think IW are more innovative but Treyarch offer better product support. I couldn't care less who makes the games . All that matters is playability and for me , MW2 is a broken game compared to Black Ops. Both of them are fun games to play, but I think the standard of play is higher on BO, as it's more of a balanced game . Why is it that any time someone criticizes MW2 you throw your toys out of the pram, and have to resort to bollocks like "Treyarch Fanboys" ? MW" isn't horrific as a game....It's just awful when compared to BO. Both have flaws but the flaws in MW2 are massive and ruined the game. The flaws in BO aren't game ruiners. black ops is best I rest my case. There's a difference between criticizing a game and criticizing people who have a different opinion . Ahreed. It'll be like Houllier again. When he was appointed, loads of fans didn't want him and it'll be the same with McLaren. He'll face an uphill struggle from day one, just to win over the has. We have a couple of bad results and the board will be under pressure again with calls to get rid and that he should never have been appointed in the first place. The board need to get this one right and think they should steer clear of McLaren.

The Black Ops single player is absolute crap. I'm going through it again and the constantly spawning enemies is absolute bollocks. It's not difficult, it's just stupid that you have to run into a shower of bullets in order to progress. Pile of shit.

It depends what type of shooter Bungie make, if it's another one set in space or where ever the **** it is, with soldiers in robot suits and gay guns, I don't think it'll kill COD, as you'll still have people like me, who want a war based shooter. I do wish the COD series was going to continue in the hands of Infinity Ward as they were onto something good (do one Treyarch fanboys before you start).

Don't know why, Halo is crap, I can think of a few fps i'd rather play. Sony have a better exclusive in Killzone.

We're never going to get a better chance to get Moyes. Really hope Lerner makes a move as soon as the season finishes and give him a full summer with a bit of cash to sort things out.

MW2. Treyarch are now working on next years game and won't have anything to do with this next one.
