    With most of us not being able to get tickets these days without a season ticket how about a lottery where tickets to games can be won, perhaps with some player meetings, tunnel access etc. I’d buy a ticket

    For me Summer = deadwood out, savvy signings in (frees and cheaper players with contracts running down). Guido Rodriquez is back playing now after his broken leg, scored last time out against Villareal. He’d be a great signing for the DM role. Get his mate Acuna in also for LB and ship out Digne to Stevie G in Saudi. Others I’ve mentioned, who have contracts expiring in 2025, include Pavlidis, Geertruida and Veerman (2026). Geertruida might be too expensive for us though. If we could get Hermoso in on a free and Frimpong via his RC then that would be an amazing window. We might need to shift Cash if we were go after Frimpong though and for FFP reasons too.

    I wonder if, with our FFP situation we'll look to bring in mouldable younger players that will cost less but with Emery's coaching ability be made into star players. If we kept our core senior players it could work. There are plenty of potential gems out there that are ripe for the picking. That kid at Hull looks good (you see what I did there)

    I was an advocate for us signing him before Chelsea nabbed him. Him and Lesley Ugochukwu. I think Fofana has something about him but I'd like us t take a look at Karim Konate at Salzburg if we're after a young forward/striker.

    I’ve avoided here until now and get the bed wetting to some degree but we are where we are on merit. It’s still in our hands. Yes our form is a bit pants at present, which I put down to Torres and Kamara absences, more the latter. However, we’re above both Spurs and Man Utd and have been for some time. It’s always easier to chase down someone than lead. We just need to hold firm a bit and I’ll think we’ll bring it home (4th).

    Nervous excited for this one. It depends if we turn up against them as we did against City. If we do I think we’ll do well against them. If we play a bit lacklustre like we did against Luton then I can see us really struggling, especially if Maddison plays I’d be happy with a draw.

    Random question, if we were in for Frimpong, is he classed as homegrown due to be at city?

    Tyler Morton at Hull, not sure Plop will part with him though.

    Always liked the Lyon adidas kits from a couple of seasons ago and some of the River Plate stuff is nice, especially the double coloured sleeve training gear from this season.

    With us scouting Porto on a number of occasions I wonder if we’re looking at Otavio as a LCB option or Nico Gonzales as a CM/DM option, or both.

    Also, can we stop with all this ‘my player is better than yours, your opinion is wrong’ bull####. We’ve all got ideas on who we think would work in our team and all opinions are valid. You might disagree with them but they’re still valid. Just saying your opinion is right is a cop out, back it up with analysis, insight. Argue your point. Let’s steer away from the kiddy style arguments that basically go something like.. I’m right, no I’m right, NO I’M RIGHT, NO I’M RIGHT It’s getting a bit tedious

    I’d like to see a LW/IF come in, something a bit different to Ramsey or Buendia, who I’m assuming would be the AM options for the left, especially seeing as the RW/SS role is Diaby/Bailey at present. Who that is open to debate.

    Also, is Martinez pally with Guido Rodriquez. His contract expires at Betis this June so would be a decent Bosman pick up for Kamaras spot.

    I’d like us to take a look at Pavlidis at AZ as I think he’d be a decent option instead or alongside Watkins. Looked tidy against us and his scoring record is amazing in an average AZ team. Inferior league granted but he’s done well In Europe. He only has a year left on his contract too.

    Playing devils advocate here, IF we decided to sell Dougie to Real Madrid, could we be cheeky and get Guler in as McGinns ultimate successor?

    I think Luiz and Kamara are key to us, them Emi, Pau, Konsa and Watkins are our spine. I’d like some competition for them as our levels are off when they’re not playing.

    He’s got some decent stats compared to Kamara, a bit lower on the possession stats but still a good option. Tyler Morton at Hull has similar stats to Pablo Maia too so he’d be another option to look at.
