  1. Loving it. Keep going, shaping up to be the most entertaining and interesting window in years. If we were a serious team I would be worried but we are a joke. Would love to see Roy knocking this bunch into shape. God only knows what next season holds, It's a mad house.
  2. Am I the only one surprised we have signed anyone at all? Not bad as back up, not sure he is really needed though, we could have done worse, at least he has experience. Give our precarious state, and lack experience I would rather two more like this on a free than some of the untested rubbish we paid money for in the past few windows.
  3. In my view, Lambert's problem is that he can't get a performance out of what he's got - the sign of a worthy manager. You can count on two hands 100% performances since he arrived. Yes, he's had one arm behind his back, but most of what he's bought hasn't worked, and after 2 seasons you have two or three players worthy of the side and no progress or anything to build on. Even with £200m spent it would be a miracle if we are anything other than mid table next season.
  4. I expect us to lose all our final games, and for Man City to put 5 past us. That will be a big issue come the final Sunday.
  5. We are in a VERY serious predicament. Hand on heart I don't think we are capable of winning or drawing against any team in this league, we are possibly the worst team, on a level with Cardiff. I feel Fulham have a win in them but we don't.
  6. We don't deserve to stay up. This team is dreadful, it is just not a Premiership quality side. Oh, and Lambert has to go.
  7. Ha! Completely forgotten about Gravesen. We could do with him in our side!
  8. Who the f*ck do we think we are??! I would take Moyes at the drop of a hat. 10x the manager Lambert is. Would improve us no end, we have a massive battle to get back to 7th place, and Moyes was doing that on a shoe string. He's never really had money. The best teams are built from the back, and that exactly what we are missing. I can't think of anyone else we could get who wouldn't be a gamble. We are the perfect fit, the only Manager I would have instead is Martinez, and he's turned us down once, and his stock is on the rise while ours is shite.
  9. In fairness to Liverpool, even without Suarez they play decent football. Best offensive side in the PL by a mile. Problem with owners is they generally load the club with debt. There are far more tales of woe than positive ones, a couple of tough seasons for Man U will see them under duress due to their highly leveraged position (and why Moyes will be gone this summer). The scary thing is that even with Lerners vast wealth and initial enthusiasm, his pockets aren't deep enough!
  10. I admire the positivity. We are desperate, and at this stage of the season we are scrapping for our lives hoping that others are worse. I can easily see us not picking up any more points this season. Hats off to the management team, you should all be ashamed.
  11. We're going down, and frankly we deserve it and can't say it hasn't been coming. The whole club is a **** mess.
  12. You've only got to look at Pulis at Palace to see how much is down to a Manager. Palace are shit, but they played us off the park because Pulis kicks arse and gets results. No, I don't want Pulis, but someone to steady the ship because if we aren't down this season we will be next. All Lambert can offer is "There are worse teams than us" - really, like who? - Stoke, Fulham, Palace, Swansea...... I reckon we are about as bad as Sunderland or Cardiff, but not better.
  13. Wholesale change needed at the club. Lerner isn't going to leave anytime soon, so this process must start with Lambert. Sadly, whoever comes in needs at least £50m just to stop the rot before we can kick on, and I just don't see that happening. Haven't got a clue who we could turn to, but I'd take a Pulis type manager for two seasons to steady the ship and get us back to fringes of top 8. Errrghh, how did we get here.......?!
  14. Poor players, poor manager, poor tactics, no heart or fight. No hope (this time last year at least we had that).
  15. Yet again it's just pure luck that others have a tougher run in than us, because we are as poor as any team in the league. If it wasn't for the lucky win against Arsenal on the opening day, we would be right in it, and that's not to say we might not win until the end of the season - let's face it, no one in their right mind would bet against us losing next game? The home losses this season are nothing but a humiliation. Doug wouldn't stand for it, neither should we.
  16. Just rubbish. We honestly couldn't be much worse. At this stage of Lambert's project we are no further forward then when AM left. We have little talent, no heart or fight, and embarrass the faithful with inept hone displays. Why would you bother paying the extortionate prices to watch these overpaid, talentless kids not bothering for this once proud club. Lamberts a busted flush, he's been found out, it's over. And I blame Lerner in equal amounts too.
  17. What a fan you are! So you enjoy this rubbish do you? Sub standard kids losing possession and creating nothing. Beaten at home by virtually any one these days. The club is utterly rudderless, no plan other than barely keeping our head above water. What can in say? I've been an active fan for 30 years and our predicament is just the terrible. at least under Doug there was a glimmer of hope.
  18. **** rubbish. Zero improvement in the past two years. Might not be all lamberts fault, but just saying. This team is just not good enough. Poor, barely premiership, quality. Don't get to VP any more, going to stop watching on TV shortly too. Just awful. Ground nearly empty with 5 minutes to go, says it all - can't even be bothered to stay and boo.
  19. This team would struggle in the Championship. We are one defeat from very serious trouble with lots of games yet to play, if anything we are in a worse position than last year - at least then there were two dead certs to go down, and we had some second half do season form. I am very worried. Randy has destroyed the club with terrible decisions and appointments.
  20. Doesn't matter how you dress it up, we are rubbish. Fundamentally, the players are not good enough, and the few that are should at best be squad players not 1st eleven except Guzan, Delph and Benteke (when on form). £90-100m to fix this I am afraid, although I fear that Randy thinks it is fixed. It's just not going to happen is it?
  21. Almost felt like last season at times yesterday (February onwards), but still some way to go. Weimann seems to have remembered how to play again, he will hopefully get better each game with renewed confidence.
  22. Neither good nor bad - looked a little rusty, and didn't really look in shape either but I am sure he will improve. Can't be worse than what we've got.
  23. Arrogant, big time time Charlie. He's the epitome of what gives Premier League footballers a bad name, he's like David Bentley, good for a bit, made the big move and thought he'd made it. Had to specialise in cheating to give him a look in. He's yesterday's man, and a bad smell, no thanks
  24. Be very careful, this is a trick. Isn't it?
  25. Sacking Lambert and bringing back Hutton, Bent and Ireland will be as exciting as it gets. So tragic are events at Villa, this outlandish thought is actually beginning to excite me.....
