Our internment camps are an international disgrace in violation of the UN human rights convention. They will be looked back on historically as a stain on our society. I would not be looking to Australia for inspiration on immigration.

How are they expecting the U.K. to grow if you are planning on heavily restricting immigration? Best case is you would end up like Japan with a rapidly ageing population and economic stagnation.

I agree. This is what I mean by taking stock at the end of the season. If he gels the side and we have a strong finish he will start next season as manager and we will hit the ground running for a promotion push. If he limps over the line and we look like there is no plan on the pitch or off then the summer will be a time to try our luck with a new manager and give the new guy a preseason.

There is nothing blind about supporting a manager that has had four promotions. EVERY manager needs time with a new squad to get a team spirit and plan going. We have bought a whole new midfield, a new defence, a new striker. As of last month most of this side has never played together before. It takes time no matter who the manager is. We should use the rest of the season to bed the side in and take stock over the summer.

Jut keep sacking the manager every three-six months. That's a sure fire strategy that has worked well in the past...

I'm pretty sure he does know. I think he's counting on his supporters not knowing. Its similar to the comments I've seen saying that he is going to throw a tantrum if his 'Muslim ban' gets overturned. He might in public but in private he would love it if the ban was overturned. It would give him popular support to grab more power from the other branches of government.

He comes across very much like Martin O'Neil, more interested in buying the right players and getting them motivated rather than running formations/tactics. He will have until the end of the season and we will reassess where we are and where we are heading.

Don't forget the parachute payments from the new TV deal. Every team that drops down under the new deal will be able to significantly outspend Championship sides.

Well we were the Sunderland of last season and I recall we had an expectation to go straight back up.

We have paid top dollar for championship quality players. Next season there will be three Premier League sides coming down who will all have expectations of automatic promotion. They will have spent their TV deal money on Premier League players whilst our Captain is a West Brom cast off. I think next season is going to be a long slog as well.

Or how about Norway? Or Canada in recent days? The reason for human conflict is not down to what religion you happen to follow. It's down to the tribalism of human nature. Rich western countries are bound to have fewer conflicts than poor countries, religion is not the reason.
